Twisted Duel Reality

I sit here by myself

Cool tears streaming down my face

The winter breeze blowing fiercely

Taking with it my waning sanity

This release brings slight relief and is as fleeting as always

I stare out awkwardly at the crowd trying hard not to feel so alone and failing miserably

As the wind picks up and becomes a gust

It grasps me and drops me in the grey once again

That area where nothing is certain anymore…

Where the black and white blur together

And I wake…

To find—I'm not real

To find—I'm just an idea

Something that someone thought up

To think ideas can dream…

How foolish of me to assume I'd had some human importance

That I'd be anything more than an insignificant speck

Drip…drip…drip…

I hear it coming from beneath me

I feel the heavy shaking at my feet like that of an earthquake

I'm sad again, no she is sad and as the after thought, I am in extension a somber thing

I reject it—the truth

I reject it—the pain

I reject it—my existence

I reject it—for I'm merely a stain

A scar upon her otherwise unmarred heart

A blemish on her once pure soul

And a poison…a poison to her mind

Drowning her slowly…

Taking her last breaths…

Killing her…killing myself….killing the chaste we that there was…is…will be…

We feel death's cool breath birthing icicles on our nape…

His bony clutch grasping at that piece beating so loudly in my chest…

His spider-leg like fingers scraping their way across her psyche…

His talons stained with the remnants of countless souls, that he uses to pull us apart…

To force us beyond the boundary of being ONE and into the freedom of being TWO

And they…
Are Me…
And You…

The beginning to our end is finally come…

||UPDATED||Author's Note:

Hope you like his dark side, it is Oktober after all. This is kinda-sorta related to his other poem and almost serves as a prequel to 'Witness to Sweet Suicide'. They're his deliciously morbid brain children and he loves them both dearly.

PS The Duel in the title is not a typo it was intentional and signifies the physical, emotional, and psychological fight between the two. If it makes it easier to grasp, he thinks of them as twins sharing one conciusness while at the same time they're only just figuring it out.

||UPDATED|| He is such a dolt, he forgot to add this part on because without it the Author's Note makes no sense at all. Please forgive him.

Thank you for Reading and Reviewing! Enjoy~
