Okay so this is basically the Back cover for the book lol. I'm testing the water withthis and I'm only through the first chapter. I'm writing this as a side project when I have plot bunnies. The Brotherhood
Altair is an assassin, one good at his job. However, he takes no pride in his ability as what he calls a 'murderer'. The Eagle of Masyaf is soon called to take on a certain job, one fitting for his age. He's supposed to meet with other assassins under the California Grandmaster, and infiltrate and 'stalk' the son of the late Warren Vidic, in highschool. The young assassin, only 17, soon finds that life is not all well with Abstergo – a bustling corporation after the Pieces of Eden – at a loss for its master, for it seemsthat like a hydras head, when one is cut down, more spring up in its place. He meets fellow assassins when he is transferred to work under Al Mualim, a 30 some year old assassin veteran. With Robert on the move and trying to find who the Brotherhood sent after him trying to act like a normal teenager was just as hard as Altair expected it to be. What he did not expect was to fall in love with his partner, who is also the very teen he almost caused to lose his left arm. Nor did he ever expect to find he was working with people he knew well – at least some of them. And he especially did not expect to be forced to his knees by the very teen he had been called to assassinate. But one quickly finds out life is not what you expect when you live life in the Brotherhood.
