Hello Gorgeous
"Edward, you have to do it!" I said with great shock of what the dare was. "No, I am not putting on Alice's clothes, and going to the mall! So you can just forget it." He replied coldly.
"Fine, Edward, but you either do this dare or one that Emmet thinks up!" I warned. "Why did I ever agree to play this with you guys?" Edward grumbled,"Fine," he agreed, "I'll do the stupid dare, god only knows what Emmet would come up with!!" Everyone laughed. "But I get to pick out the outfit!" he bargained. Alice grabbed his hand and pulled him upstairs to her closet. "Take your pick!" she gestured to the rows and rows of clothes before us.
He sighed and went into the closet. I followed, "Oooo! How about this!?" I held up a skimpy black dress and giggled, "I think you'd look sexy!" Emmet laughed his booming laugh as he entered the room. "Nah" Alice said "It wouldn't work for his shape!" this set everyone into new fits of laughter. He growled at us, "Hurry up and pick something, we don't have all day!" Jasper said. Edward went back into the closet and looked around, "That's it!" Alice exclaimed, "You're taking too long! I'm picking something!" She rummaged through the clothes until she seemed to find what she was looking for. She held up a cute purple dress. "Oh MAN!" Emmet exclaimed and his laugh echoed through the room. Edward got a little perturbed when the rest of us joined him. "Okay!" Edward yelled "That's enough laughter at my expense! Now leave so I can change!" "Oh!" Alice exclaimed "I almost forgot!" she went digging through the bottom of the closet and came out with strappy lavender heels. I doubled over in laughter as we were shooed from the room.
Finally I pushed open the door and went in. "Edward, get your butt out here." I yelled as I enetered the room. Once glimpse of him in that purple dress and strappy heels, I almost fell over laughing. He put his finger to my lips to try to stop the insane laughter that bubbled from my lips and hurt my stomach. I didn't work. I clutched my sides in pain, I was hardly breathing as I laughed harder. Everyone else burst through the door and joined in the laughter. "Come on Edward. Time to go to the mall!" Alice exclaimed with an evil laugh. "Remind me never to play truth or dare with you people again!" Edward nearly shouted.
It took Emmet, Jasper, Rosalie and Alice to get Edward out the door and into the car. I just followed quietly.
Chapter 2
At the mall
Finally we got Edward out of the car and into the mall. Just in time too, the mall was closing in 10 minutes. "Now, you have to go up to that guy over there and say 'hello gorgeous'" Emmet challenged.
" That was not a part of the bet, Emmet! Im not doing it!" Edward growled. "Coward!" Emmet said childishly, Edward took the bait "Fine!" he fumed and marched over to the random guy Emmet had picked out. Edward got to the guy and quietly said "hello gorgeous." Without any expression in his voice or face. We all started laughing when the guy looked shocked and horrified. Edward marched back to us "I am never doing something like that again! " He looked really mad, " Perhaps we should get him home before he trys to kill Emmet publicly" I suggested' trying not to laugh.
"Edward, I should probably get home. Its after ten and you know how Charlie can get." I reminded him. " Just let me stop at home to change, then I'll drive you home" Edward said. "Ok, it might freak Charlie out to see you like this." I said "Come on, lets go!" I said feeling a tiny bit worried about how Charlie would react. He might get mad if I was home too late. We hurried home and Edward changed into gender appropriate clothing. Then we left to go to Charlies house. "I'll be back when Charlie's snoring." Edward said after kissing the top of my head. "Goodbye Gorgeous" I heard him call as I walked up the driveway.
