Stealing the Spotlight

Caitlyn was fed up. She finally had enough. She had enough of Tess. She ruined everyone's year. Especially hers and Mitchie's. Tess stole the spotlight.

Tess always got everything she wanted.

She finally got that recording deal. Now she could torture the world like she did her.

Everything except for Shane. When she found out she couldn't have him, she went for Nate.

That broke Caitlyn's heart in two.

Caitlyn liked Nate, a lot.

When Nate and Tess got together Caitlyn got even more fed up.

It was ALL OVER the magazines and television.

That made Caitlyn irritated.

How did Caitlyn deal with this?

She went into depression.

She started cutting herself.

Caitlyn slipped so far into depression that there was no turning back for her.

No one could save her.

That is, until HE came over.

Shane had always liked Caitlyn.

When she slipped into depression he wanted to do something.

When she started cutting herself he KNEW he had to do something.

One day when he went over to her house he had a mission.

Shane Gray was going to help Caitlyn Geller.

He was going to help her no matter what.

That day when he rung the doorbell she didn't answer.

He tried the door and it was unlocked which was strange because her house was in upstate New York. It was a dangerous place.

He went in and found Caitlyn in her bathroom.

She was sobbing and had a bunch of blood on her arm.

She had accidentally cut a vein.

He rushed her to the hospital.

It took them two hours for them to tell Shane any news.

When Shane got to her room he didn't like what he saw.

Although she was alive Caitlyn was hooked up to a bunch of wires.

He walked up to her and said "Why did you do it?"

She looked up at him weakly and said "At first it was because I thought this was all a nightmare. I wanted a way out of it. Cutting was my only escape. I realize I made a stupid mistake. I don't like him anymore."

"You don't?" Shane questioned. "I don't. I like someone else." She said.

"Who?" he questioned again. "You." She answered simply.
Shane was so happy. "I like you too." He answered her.

She smiled.

He leaned in and kissed her.

When he pulled away she was smiling brightly.

Now Caitlyn was in the spotlight- the spotlight of Shane's life.
