Author's note: Laylee set me a challenge to use the following words in a drabble or double drabble – smirk, Google, opportunity. This double drabble of exactly 200 words was the result. Thanks to Laylee for giving me the nudge to write something, the title, and for the beta. *hugs*
World Wide Wizards
Draco'd been trying to get Harry to use the computer, to no avail. Surprisingly, Draco had taken to it like a Niffler to gold, but Harry couldn't be bothered. That was until two nights ago, and Harry had hardly been off the thing since.
"Hmm."
"What, Harry?"
"I just Googled myself and got nothing. That's odd."
Draco went over to look. "Ahh. I see why. Try wwww."
"Huh?"
"Wizarding World Wide Web."
Harry did as Draco suggested and then typed his name. "That's more like it!" With that, Harry set to reading.
After a while, Draco asked, "Having fun reading about yourself?"
Laughing, Harry replied, "Most of it is complete and utter bollocks. But there are a few accurate articles. Come read this one."
Draco read, commenting at the end, "'Harry Potter lives in Scotland with his partner, Draco Malfoy.' That's all they said about me!" He walked away, muttering.
Five minutes later, Harry handed Draco a paper. "Read it now."
"You changed it?"
"Wizardingwikipedia affords anyone the opportunity to modify the text, so I did."
"'Harry Potter lives in Scotland with the love of his life, the brilliant, handsome, sexy, Draco Malfoy'."
"Better?"
"Now it's accurate," Draco replied, smirking.
