(KAI) I started this a while ago.
Pure randomity.
That's it.
You're lucky I grabbed it by the nuts and finished it up.

WATCH
Jake's face, for the third time, slipped against Will's shoulder, jolting the younger awake. "'M sorry," he mumbled, taking note of the agitated look he received.
"Never mind it," Wilhelm snapped, readjusting, "It's best that you bed."
Jake's eyes watered keeping a yawn down, "How is that fair?"
"It isn't. Now lay down."
"Will, be sensible. You can't watch the inn all night, by yourself."
"Not any better than I can with you hovering about and making a nuisance of yourself," the elder huffed, gaze already trained back on the attic windows.
"Why don't you go to bed. This is my project after all," Jake's voice reached a frustrated pitch even as Will's hand snaked out and pushed him over.
With a cry, Jake landed and rolled a bit, the weight of his messenger back unsettling his balance even further. A bruise was already forming on the younger's leg, but when he rose to shout in anger, he was shocked to see a small and gentle smile on Wilhelm's mouth. Looking down at his younger brother, his entire face seemed softer and pleased.
Jake dropped back down, staring.
"Just let your big brother do the work this time, all right?"
After a moment, Jake nodded slowly, and Will touched his hand before resuming the watch.
Jake's watch.
