She just didn'tbelieve it
She wanted to believe it
She wanted to see that she was cute
She wanted to see that she was pretty
She wanted to see that she was beautiful
She wanted to see that she was gorgeous
But it wasn't true in her mind
But it was true
Everyone knew it
But she didn't
That's what people can do to you
They can make you feel a-w-f-u-l
They make you feel h*o*r*r*i*b*l*e
They can make you do hideous things
It's a dog eats dog world
And that's what kind of world she lived in
But then he comes
Everything is suddenly becoming clearer
It's like she saw a light
Everything is perfect now
But like everything else in her life. . .
It doesn't last for long
Jay's g~o~n~e now
And she's back to a h o r r i b l e life
A life that she didn't want
A life that somehow had chosen itself
She tried to make it better
Abby tried a lot of things
But like everything else
It fails
And that's never going to change
