Tao gave Raizel the final coordinates. Raizel moved as fast as he could, but he was slowing down. Raizel had already pressed himself far past his limit, he could feel his consciousness slowly abandoning him. He just had one more to go. He just had to last a little longer.
Crombel was astonished, some mysterious being made it across the world and destroyed all of the satellites. As curious as he was, he was furious. This was a huge setback and a huge disadvantage if this people attacking him had something or someone capable of doing so. Luckily for him, they didn't anymore.
Raizel looked up at the spot the satellite he had just destroyed. His eyes fluttered to a gentle close as his body succumbed to gravity. He could hear the desperate calls from Tao over the communication device slowly getting fainter, but Raizel had no energy left to move his lips. He didn't even have any energy left to break his fall. He felt his body crash ruthlessly into the ground. Raizel laid in the crater he created looking towards the night sky.
I've seen this scenery so many times, yet why does it seem lonely now?
Through the communication device, Tao's voice was getting more panicked, Raizel could tell he was on the verge of tears.
Tao had always been so emotional... Sorry, for worrying you so much…
Rai listened to Tao's distant calls, unable to understand what he was saying anymore. He could easily guess what it was though. Something along the lines of "No, no, no, just hold on a little longer sir! I'll get you home. Just keep holding on, please. Please sir."
Tao really is just like Frankenstein…. Frankenstein…..He's going to have a panic attack...Sorry, Frankenstein, it seems all I ever cause you is anxiety and pain. I haven't been that good of a master have I? Never did I really do anything to deserve such a devoted Bonded. Never did I really do anything to deserve such a loving family either. Thank you.
Raizel slowly closed his eyes as his body went limp, slowly shattering into glowing bits of power. It was an odd sight. To see oneself shattering. But the red orbs shined brighter than the night sky, Raizel didn't really mind, oddly enough it was a pretty sight. He didn't particularly feel terrible either. If anything, he felt lighter than he ever had. Completely released from his duties as the Noblesse, unchained from the responsibilities of power, he had done his duty and he had done it well. Now it was time for him to rest.
Raizel felt something running down his face.
Blood.
It wasn't blood from a wound.
