Blood Red
Chapter 1
My name is Blood Red, morbid I know I didn't choose it but I am stuck with it. You have probably heard of my sister Snow White. I am the forgotten child the one no one remembers I don't have a prince charming or a story, not that her story is right any way.
I am Snow Whites twin sister. I think our parents were trying to be cute with the opposite name business I just find it embarrassing. I also don't look like her my hair as you can probably guess is dark red and although my skin is pale it is still not as pale as hers. The only way we look alike is with the dark red lips.
I would like to tell the truth about my dear sister, who is not all she has been made to be. The poor Grimm brothers were subjected to some dark magic to forget what they saw when they met my family.
First things first my father did not die and leave in the hands of some horrible evil step-mother he is alive and well. I had no step-mother our birth mother may not have been evil she had some questionable morals. Snow on the other hand is not the angelic creature she was made out to be. The prince did not fall in love with her beauty he literally fell under her spell.
There is a lot of stories about my sister and they are all basically the same. Poor young girl, evil step mother, dwarves (there are dwarves), prince charming and true loves kiss. True loves kiss did break a spell but not the one you think of. The main thing that people get wrong is the fact that snow white is a sweet young girl. Did you never wonder why someone would have lips red as blood, a bit morbid isn't it?
