This Time of Night
They gazed at each other with expressionless faces and unspoken words. The orchestra of crickets played their sonatas and hymns of the night as a cool breeze passed between the two individuals.
The older girl smiled softly before closing their distance, and captured the pink lasses lips gently. The latter instantly responded, sparkling tears tickling out from her closed eyelids before disappearing into nothing. Her mouth moved against the other girls, savoring the sweet taste of their joint lips, and time, for them, stood still.
Their movements slowed down before they broke apart, gasping slightly for breath. The sandy-haired kunoichi frowned as she saw the oozing tears on her other half's face. She hugged the smaller girl tightly.
"Don't let go again, Sakura." Temari murmured, running her fingers through pink locks. "Don't let go."
Sakura sniffled, trying to stop the tears from flowing. She gazed at her naked ring finger, and felt another wave of sorrow as she realized that she had to slip on her taunting wedding ring in the morning.
"This ring doesn't mean anything. I don't love him. I love you."
"I love you too. So damn much."
To be thrown into infidelity for love and contentment, then so be it.
Finite.
I don't support infidelity in real life, keep that in mind.
