The Amateur Divination Challenge: Prompt: "I'm a unicorn!"

Triwizard Tournament Competition: Word - 'delusional'

"What in the hell are you doing?" James asked, staring at his best friend, who was hiding in a bunch of Unicorns.

"I know where I'm not wanted," Sirius said, turning his back on his friends. "I made a new family."

James looked at Remus, silently pleading with him to deal with Sirius.

"Your turn," Remus mouthed.

"Sirius, when you say you made a new family..." James began, hoping that Sirius wasn't declaring the unicorn herd as his family.

"Unicorns. They are pure and kind and stuff. They won't be mean to me."

"But they are a herd of animals. How do you plan... did you think this through?" James asked.

"I did. I figure if I stick around long enough, they'll get used to me," Sirius replied. "So I just have to fit in."

"Fit in how?" Peter interrupted. "Are you going to transfigure yourself into a unicorn?"

"No, it'll be like that Tarzan," Sirius replied. "Now, I think you all should leave."

"No," James said. "You need to explain why you're out here. Human's don't live with Unicorns."

"I'm not going to be a human any more, I'm going to be a Unicorn," Sirius said, stubbornly.

James looked at Remus again. Clearly Sirius was being more delusional than usual. He had never tried to live with animals before, so this was something bigger - or Sirius thought it was.

Whatever the problem, he knew Remus would be able to get it out of the delusional teen sitting on the ground in the forbidden forest, surrounded by Unicorns.

"Sirius, you said you know where you're not wanted and that's why you're here... what makes you think you're not wanted?"

Sirius sighed. "I heard you lot talking about me. Well, you and James."

"What did you hear?" Remus asked quickly.

"You said you didn't want to be friends any more... or something. James agreed that you shouldn't be," Sirius said, frowning. His face lit up as a baby unicorn curiously headed in his direction.

"Wait a minute," Peter said. "Those Unicorns seem a bit friendlier to you than they should be."

"Because they are beautiful and peaceful creatures, and -"

"And they are more accepting of people that are pure. Are you 'pure' Sirius?" James asked, a grin forming.

"No," Sirius said, jumping up.

"You are!" James was trying to hold back his laughter. "With that reputation and all and you're just a virgin!"

"I'm not," Sirius whined.

"Back on topic. Sirius, was that all you heard?"

Sirius nodded and Remus began to walk through the herd, the Unicorns scattering quickly. He went to take Sirius' arm, but Sirius pulled away.

"Who was it?" he hissed. "That Hufflepuff girl who follows you around? Or was it one of the Prewett Twins?"

"What?" Remus asked, confused.

Sirius looked around at the scattered Unicorns pointedly before returning his gaze to Remus. "Who took advantage of you, because I'll kill them."

"Sirius, you do remember that I'm a Werewolf, right? To them, that makes me impure."

"Oh." Sirius was silent for a moment. "So you haven't -"

"Nope."

"Cool, let's go," Sirius said, smiling again as he led Remus away from the Unicorns

"That quickly?" James asked.

"Yeah, they aren't a good family if they can't accept Remus," Sirius said. "Maybe the Centaurs would be more accepting?"

"Sirius, don't go and become a centaur," Remus sighed.

"Why not?" Sirius asked.

"Earlier I was saying to James that I didn't want to be friends anymore because I wanted to ask you out. He was telling me to go for it," Remus admitted.

"Oh, so you want... are you asking -" Sirius began, stopping abruptly.

"Remus wants to make you impure," James said.

"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea," Sirius said. "Wouldn't want the Unicorns to get too attached and try and get me to rejoin their herd."

Remus' blush deepened as Sirius' fingers entwined with his as they turned around and headed back towards the castle.
