On that day He had an itch
And it really made Him twitch
The itch was really mean you know
It drove Him crazy this is so
You see when a wound starts to heal
The skin begins to itch and peel
But there was no way He could ease the itch
Man that was such a bitch
On that day He thought He'd scream
Not when people were being mean
The plan went down without a hitch
But He had a terrible, terrible itch
On that day when the sun went down
He began to cry and frown
Teasing and bullying or being a snitch
He didn't care He had an itch.
What is the lesson we learn from an itch
We have so much both big and small pitch
It is the things we often don't think gives us a care
That we miss when they aren't here
It takes a lot for us to know
The things we have long ago
The ability to scratch an itch or the wind blowing in the breeze
Even the sight of roses and trees
So love the things we have every day
And the one who will make the love stay
