It was their first full day back at Hogwarts, Allora was starting her 5th year, and wanted to get away from all the noise in the Ravenclaw Common Room. She wandered around a bit feeling like she was finally home, she rounded a corner in the 5th floor corridor bumping into Draco Malfoy. Draco quickly backed away from her and sneered. "What are you doing here? This is Slytherin territory." He said with an evil voice "I was uh going for a walk" she knelt down and started gathering up sheets of music. "Ugh. You filthy Ravenclaw, what's with all this crap?" He said, bending over and eyeing her music. "Is this music? What a bloody joke!" He threw the paper to the side and exited the hallway. A single tear fell from her eye as she walked around the hallway picking up her music. She walked over to one of the benches and started to sing the song Sky Scraper and she organized her music. Suddenly, she heard the faint sound of keys on a piano. She walked over to a mysterious doorway and opened the door. Upon entering the music became louder. She looked over at a baby grand piano sitting in the corner with a mysterious boy moving his fingers gracefully along the keys. She continued to sing as the boy played to the music. She was in awe over how well he played. Suddenly, he turned around to smile at her. It was a unmistakable face, Neville Longbottom was playing the piano, and beautifully at that. "Neville? You play?" "yes, I've always loved music." He said, getting up from the piano bench and walking towards her. "you know, not only Ravenclaws are musically talented.""I kn-know, but ...wow you play so well why keep it hidden?""I just, like being the mysterious piano player, that's all." He looked down at the mess of papers in her hands. "hey, what happened to your papers?" "Malfoy..." "That git...""that he is" Neville chuckled. "Hey, it's getting late, how about I walk you back to your common room?" "Um thanks that would be great" Neville took some of her papers in his hands, and lead her off down the corridor. They walked slowly, wanting to relish in the feeling of dusk air, blowing through the cavernous hallways. "Maybe you can play and I can sing together again sometime?" She asked nervously "Sounds good, Granger." He said, and patted her on the back as he left her in front of the Ravenclaw common room. She stood a little confused. -He called me Granger... he has never called me that- she thought walking in the common room. That night, she went to bed with a smile on her face, happy that she had finally found another person to share her love of music with. Even though she had to deal with a Malfoy in order to find him.
