Bath time part 2
"Sirena, where are you taking us?" Mimmi asked her fellow mermaid. "Just watch." Sirena said as they walked upstairs. "C'mon Sirena, just tell us. Why does it have to be a surprise?" Ondina complained. Sirena didn't say anything, she only smiled. They then stopped before one of the doors and Sirena opened it. "This is the surprise." she tells them. Ondina and Mimmi walk into a room, where a bathtub stands, a large mirror hanging above the sink, a toilet and a closet.
"What is all of this?" Ondina questions. "This, my girls, is a bathroom. Land people use it to refresh themselves in." Sirena then tells them. "What exactly do land people in here?" "They usually take a bath, so they won't smell bad." "Well, it doesn't help them. Land people all have these different smells around them, I sometimes think I need to vomit." Ondina tells her. "How does this work?" Mimmi asks. "I'll show it to you." Sirena turns the bath on and it begins to fill with water. "Where does the water come from?" Mimmi asks her. "I don't know exactly. Rita mentioned something named pipes. But what those things are, that's beyond me." "Okay, you told us this. Now what?" Ondina cuts in. "Since you're willing to volunteer, it is your turn first Ondina. Go sit in the bath." Sirena grins, while she turns the tab off. "You sure?" "I do this almost every day, trust me." "Okay." And with that, Ondina climbs into the bath. Her tail sprouts immediately. "First, we are going to wash your hair. Here is some shampoo, but watch out for your eyes. I had that, and it really hurt." "And you want me to put this on my hair?" Ondina questions her. "Believe me, your hair will be really soft after this." Ondina followed Sirena's instructions and washed her hair.
"And now it's time to shave your armpits." "What does shave mean?" Mimmi asks confused. "It means that we are going to remove the hair from your armpits. Land girls do this all the time. Land boys do this to their face." Sirena then showed both girls how to do this. Ondina, of course doing it while complaining.
"Last thing to do is to wash yourself with soap. This one smells like oranges." "I don't like oranges. Sirena, tell me one more time why we have to this." Sirena laughed, "You know Ondina, you sound exactly like a friend of mine when she first needed to shower. You both complained about the oranges." "Can you hurry up Ondina, I still need to go and we have to get to Zac's house as soon as possible." "Yeah, yeah." Ondina said and she finished. Sirena and Mimmi helped her to get dry and then it was Mimmi's turn. She was done, a whole lot faster than Ondina was, which very much came from the fact that she wasn't complaining the whole time.
After she was done and dry again, Mimmi asked Sirena if she could take the bottles with her, for the recipes. "I think that you should ask Rita, she owns them. But I think that she will let you. These things are for sale, almost everywhere." "Can we stop talking about this and just go on to Zac?" Ondina interrupted them. "We're coming." Sirena said, as she and Mimmi followed Ondina.
