England's POV
It was another allied meeting day and as usual America was running late.
"Where is that git, he was supposed to be here ten minutes ago." I said voicing my, and the other countries, thoughts. \
I looked around the room to see if anyone had any idea of the boys whereabouts but before anyone even had the chance to say anything Ameria burst into the room panting apologizing for being late. I was about to scold him for it when I noticed his attire, it was his military uniform with his leather jacket thrown over it. He may have usually worn his tan suit but this time he was in his infantries full uniform, he even had soot and blood all over his face and uniform, his gun strapped on his back.
"A-America, why are you...dressed liked this?" France asked looking slightly nervous, none of us had ever been on the front lines with our soldiers.
"Oh this, sorry I didn't have the chance to clean up first. The battle had taken longer than I had hoped and I had to use the nations portal to get here. I'm happy to inform though that we won the battle with few casualties on our side." America said smiling wiping his hands on his pants trying wipe off some soot and blood, though it was in vain for the American was covered in the substances.
His cool head after having just been in battle shocked us all the most.
"So what'd I miss?" America had asked in his usual playful voice knocking us out of our thoughts.
"Nothing yet, although why were you in battle, aru?" China asked hesitantly. America looked confused.
"I've always battled alongside my people, haven't you?" America questioned them all, he turned his gaze to all of the nations.
"Haven't you all?" He inquired, all the countries hung their head in shame having never had the bravery of the young American.
"So none of you have ever had the guts of your people who are trying to save you. We're all immortal to an extent but you guys can't even help save the ones protecting you, are you kidding me. I've been getting put down by people like you all my life." America said cruelly, very unlike himself. It shocked us all that something so mean was coming from him, we all winced back at the truth of it all.
"America there is no need to be so rude to your allies, da?" Russia said trying to calm him down, America just scowled.
"Why shouldn't I, I fight alongside their men and women who lay down their lives while they sit around and make decisions that are getting them killed. None of you know how fast your people are dropping and why, you're just sitting around a table making decisions that are costing people their lives. Our leaders are in the room next door and almost all of them have seen combat themselves, the least you could do in your immortal lives is help out your people." The American personification said coldly.
None of us had anything to say for it all being true, we just sat with our heads down not protesting. The American seeing this just scoffed and told us he'd be off actually doing something if they needed him. We didn't do anything after he left, just sat with our heads down thinking. Maybe i'll join the fight if I can find the courage, but for now I sit in shame waiting for the day that I do join.
Well I got bored and this happened, there's really nothing else to say other than that I own nothing, which is fairly obvious.
