Ponyboy Curtis was like any other 14-year-old boy. Well, except the fact that he's a prince. And he hated it. Most people would die to be a prince or princess, not Ponyboy though. It was so boring. He had no one to talk to other than his two brothers, which got annoying after a while, despite how much he loved them. And he tried to make friends but gave up on that, not knowing who was using him and wasn't.
Ponyboy's just happy his parents aren't bugging him about getting a girl like they are Soda and Darry. In fact, Ponyboy's not even sure if he likes girls. He's been having explicit dreams lately about a certain boy. It's always the same boy in every dream. He had dirty blonde hair and the prettiest blue eyes that Ponyboy has ever seen.
Ponyboy's never once saw this guy before. Well, he had to of. He heard your brain couldn't process stuff you've never saw. And the mystery boy sure doesn't work at the castle. Trust him, Ponyboy's looked. A couple times. And it's killing him. It's killing him to know that this guy could be married with children. Probably not though. He always looked around Ponyboy's age, at least from where he could see.
The dream's practically always the same, just a little different details. The mystery boy is always on top of Ponyboy, pounding into him. Ponyboy always wakes up from the dream embarrassed and covered in cum.
Ponyboy jumps quickly when someone calls his name. He groans, getting up off his bed. He opens the door to see his Butler.
"Sir, the Queen would like to see you." The Butler says before turning and walking away. God, All Ponyboy wanted was for people to talk to him like he was a normal teenage boy. No 30 year old should have to call a 14 year old "sir."
Ponyboy walks down the halls of the huge castle, hating the echoing of his shoes hitting the ground. He finally makes it to where his mom and brother Sodapop were chatting. Man, Sodapop looked like a prince sitting there... Oh, wait. He is a prince sitting there. Ponyboy rolls his eyes, annoyed again as he sits down, placing his elbows and forearms on the table as he slouches down a little. His mom didn't seem to like that because she stops in mid-sentence to say something.
"No slouching." She says, making Ponyboy sigh quietly before sitting up.
"What do you need?" Ponyboy asks, putting on a fake smile.
"I needed someone to go into town and since you're always talking about how bored you are, I thought you'd like to go." His mom says making him actually real smile this time.
"Of course!" Ponyboy says, sitting up ten times more. God, he thought he'd never get this chance.
"Great, so, Robert is almost ready to go. Tell him you'll be riding along." His mom says, taking a sip out of her coffee. Ponyboy frowns at the mention of Robert. Why can't he go any where alone?
"Oh, you know, suddenly, I'm not really in the mood." Ponyboy says, trying to hide the disappointment in his voice. His mom looks up, concerned. Honey, I know you want some freedom but you are a prince. It's a tough job." His mom says, sternly.
"Well, I didn't ask for this job!" Ponyboy shouts, standing up, his chair flaying back. His mom flinches as it hits the ground, the loud noise echoing through the room ad possibly house.
"Pony." Sodapop says, trying to calm him down. Ponyboy didn't care though. He was fed up. He runs out of the room, not stopping til he gets to his bedroom, quickly slamming the door. He locks it, flinging himself down on his bed. God, he really hopes they don't come up here after should just run away... That's it! He should run away. He could change his look completely. No one would know he's a prince.
Ponyboy smiles at his idea, quickly getting back up. He packs things like blankets and food. He'll get the things he needs to disguise himself later. He'll need bleach and a hair cut and he really can't believe he's gonna go through with this. He's honestly had enough though. He needs to see what it's like to be normal for once. Cause that's all he wants. He wants a normal family. A normal childhood. He wants friends and someday a normal family that has nothing to do with the Royal one. And he's gonna get it.
Ponyboy waited til everyone was asleep before heading out. He grabbed a couple thousand, not doubt he won't need it all, dollars before heading out. You really shouldn't leave money where people can get it.
Ponyboy first stops at the store getting bleach and normal teen clothes. He then stopped someplace to eat, because honestly, he was hungry. He found a water pipe and bleached his hair quickly, using the water to slick it the way someone he saw on TV had it. He continues to walk and it was getting really dark. Yep, he was regretting this. He couldn't go home though. He refuses to.
After a few minutes of walking, someone tackles him to the ground. He closes his eyes, preparing to get jumped. Instead, the person was sitting on his chest, holding his arms down so that he'd stop struggling. Ponyboy stops struggling when he opens his eyes, realizing just how close the person's face was from his. The person, more specifically a teen boy, had blonde hair. And Ponyboy definitely recognized the boy before he noticed the blue eyes. This was the kid in his dreams...
Alright, Scene! So this is the first long Outsiders story I wrote and idk why but I've always shipped Curly and Ponyboy. Anyway, I hope people actually read this pairing. Tell me if I should continue or not. And guys, I know it seems weird that Curly was the first one to find him but it has a major part later in this story. I also always pictured Curly as the guy in the picture...
