I Don't Own Narnia or Hetalia
Short One-Shot
The Lion
America frowned slightly, staring at the battle fields emptiness and ash. it pained him to think war brought so much death. He asked for forgiveness of what he did, so much that he did. Even though many told him it wasn't his fault, he still felt the heaviness from this.
A low growl came from behind him, America looked up with wide blue eyes. Another growl, he heard it clear this time, into the forest. He slowly began to walk to it, following his ears. It sounded so familiar, something from when he lived with England.
The personification followed the sound, the dull background of war faded into a spring scenery. Flowers and striped trees, America knew he'd been here before. As he slowly walked deeper into the forest.
"Alfred..." something called to him, a pull in his spirit urged him forward. He jogged into the forest, as the trees suddenly separated themselves. The personifications eyes widen as he saw a giant lion.
Something int he back of his mind clicked, and he broke into a happy smile.
"Aslan!" he laughed, running to the lion. A deep chuckle was his respond as he tackled the lion, into a hug. A soft purr was heard.
"You've grown." America said, looking at the lion, Aslan smiled.
"Everyday you grown, so shall I." he told him, America frowned.
"How can I see you now, and remember everything that'd I'd forgotten?" he asked, memories flashed in his mind. Him and Canada finding Narnia by accident, and the adventure they had in the magical world.
"Somethings we forget when we get older, get too old to believe, young one." America looked at his old friend, and frowned again.
"Then why do I remember now, if I moved on." Aslan smile warmly at the superpower.
"The Deep Magic is something we can only interpenetrate, our destines are the same." America smiled a little, then looked around.
"The war, could I have stopped that?" he asked, Aslan only chuckled.
'We can never know what may have happen, but, you can change one thing." he told the nation, America smiled softly.
'You mean England, I can change how our brotherhood came to be now." Aslan nodded slowly, America frowned again, and hugged the lion. He knew he'd have to go now.
"Aslan, I've missed you so much." he muttered, Aslan sighed softly.
"Things can never happen the same why twice." he told America, the personification nodded and looked down.
"Can i ever come back to Narnia?" he asked, Aslan smiled.
"Someday Alfred, but for now, you need to do things in your world. And you may need some understanding in yourself." The lion got up and breath on the nation. America felt warm air rush over him, and he smiled.
When eh opened his eyes, he was back at the battlefield, only eh felt refreshed. Like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders. He smiled slightly, and gazed up at the sky.
"I'll set things right." he concluded to himself.
