"Ouch! Damn that hurts!" Yakahama Aoi shouted as the middle aged tattoo artist glided the fast needles against the sensitive skin under her arm. "Juuuni hold my hand or something!"
Aoi held her free arm out towards her best friend Kokio Jun who sat lounged in a chair beside her, a book open in his right hand. He looked up lazily at her, his fingers propping up his head. "You asked me to come, this is as much as you get." She sighed loudly, her arm still stretched out. "I told you it would hurt Aoi…"
She huffed as she pulled her arm back into her lap. Even though he was almost always a major ass she simply couldn't help but love him. It had been several months since that had spent any decent amount of time together, so when she finally she had managed to get a week off work she was hell bent on spending the week with Jun and his boyfriend. She smirked seeing his attention back deep into the novel, she was used to his attitude and was well aware of his weakness as well as out to exploit it. "You should get a tattoo to cover up that ugly scar on your neck Juni."
"Oh yeah?" Jun responded, his eyes never leaving his book.
"I can't believe Hawks wou-" That was all it took, Jun quickly turned his head towards her, his eyes returning her attack with the darkest glare he could muster. Jun's boyfriend had repeatedly bitten him in he same spot just so he could leave a scar. Despite being one of the nicest men she'd ever met, he was extremely territorial in all manners pertaining to Jun. As for Jun, there were two things he hated in the world more than anything else; people knowing about him dating an extremely popular hero, and even a syllable about his private life being openly discussed.
The tattoo artist casually looked up at them before returning to his work, hearing the name Hawks had only momentarily grabbed his attention. "Juni it's very unattractive to have a scar on your perfect skin."
Annoyed by her persistence Jun sat the book down on his lap and shook his head at her. "If I get a tattoo he is just going to poke and prod at it. No. Thanks."
"Not if you get something super cute! Something special!" Aoi looked over at her arm to see the outline of the serpents body going around her upper arm. "This is gonna look so badass!" Next to her the very vain Jun had pulled out his phone to use as a mirror while looking at his scar. It wasn't big or dark, just there enough to get on his nerves.
"Fine.." Jun said quietly while standing up. He slid his phone into his back pocket and walked towards the counter. Behind him Aoi smirked, just because he was gay didn't mean she would ever stop enjoying his body image. She loved how tall and slender he was, and his hair, even in a high ponytail if bounced easily against the middle of his back. Aoi often wondered if he had dyed his hair back in school to make it blue and silver but it never changed, even at the roots, so it must be natural. She had come to this particular tattoo shop because Jun recommended it, it was where he had gotten all his piercings done and she had full trust in him. She sat and watched him talk casually to a male tattoo artist before disappearing out of her view and sighed internally. "He really is perfect." She said quietly to no one.
"Yeah he is.." The tattoo artist responded with a smile. "Do you want to take a break before I do the coloring? The outline and shading is done."
"Yeah I'll go peek in on Juni!" She moved her arm around to look at his work. "This is so awesome!"
"Thanks." The artist grinned and pointed in the direction Jun went. "He won't let you back there by the way. He hates when anyone but the artist is in the room. Even if it's just for an eyebrow piercing or something small like that."
She leaned back in the chair and groaned. "What an ass.."
The artist smirked while getting his colors ready. "Trust me, we know. Doesn't change the fact that he has a fan club here consisting of over half of my employees."
Aoi laughed while playing on her phone. She had missed being around people that knew Jun, but it was strange to not know them herself. She sat and casually chatted for about 10 more minutes before he continued his work on her arm. Shortly after their discussion Jun came back out but adamantly refused to remove the bandage to show her. "I'll show you later so just shut up Aoi." Was all he would say. He once more sat down and returned to his book as if he hadn't just received his first tattoo.
They didn't speak for awhile until the artist smiled and said done, while cleaning the blood off her arm. "This is sooooo cool! Juni look!" She shouted while jumping out of the chair. Jun stood up and held onto her wrist to gently move her arm around so he could see it. She admired his attractive facial features while he did so. "What do you think?" She asked when he released his grip.
"It's very good work, make sure you tip him good." He let go of her hand and walked beside her to pay.
"No no Juni I'll get yours too!" She said while yanking his wallet out of his hand. "It was my idea so it's my treat!" She smiled handing over her bank card without asking for a price. "I make good money in my line of work you know." She smirked at him while sliding her card back in her purse after making sure that both artists received a generous tip from her.
"Whatever." He muttered while grabbing back is wallet. After they left the shop Aoi slid her fingers around his arm and walked beside him down the sidewalk.
"I am so excited to see Hawks! It feels like it's been ages!" Aoi grinned ignoring the sideways glancing she was receiving from talking so casually about such a local big name. Jun on the other hand was clearly feeling tense and uncomfortable. "How's the secretarial work going?"
"Awful." Jun said quietly. "He still makes jokes about sleeping around with his attractive secretary to everyone. It's ridiculous."
Aoi laughed while climbing in the building elevator with him. "He's just proud Juni, you don't let him show you off to anyone so he has to compensate somehow you know." Jun unlocked his apartment door and let Aoi go first. After he shut the door he was blinded by a blur of red and heard Aoi scream in surprise. "Hawks!"
Jun shoved the thick feathered wing out of his face and frowned. "Don't you have work today?" Hawks the Pro Hero grinned while still hugging Aoi.
"Aoi was coming to visit so I got out of it." He responded before letting go of her. "How have you been sweetie?"
Jun walked past both of them, muttering under his breathe. "How responsible.." Hawks looked over at him as he passed by and reached out to grab his wrist, pulling him back towards them.
"What's wrong with your neck? Did you get hurt?" Hawks moved his hand to touch his bandage but Jun was quicker, jerking away from him. Unfortunately his secret came out from other means.
"Juni got a tattoo! But he wouldn't let me see it!" Aoi said with a pout. She smiled watching Jun sigh heavily while allowing Hawks to gently peel off the bandage. Aoi could only gasp when she began to realize what she was looking at. What was revealed were a pair of bright red angelic wings, about 3 inches tall. "Juni that is…adorable!"
Jun stood silently while Hawks leaned in close to look at the detail. "These aren't just any wings…these are almost exact duplicates to mine." Jun slowly looked down when Hawks didn't say anything further to see him blushing up at him.
"Ugh it would have been better if you'd over reacted." Jun said in an almost playful tone. Aoi grinned wide watching them.
Hawks looked over at her and smiled. "My Kami loves me!" He said with a loud laugh as he wrapped his arm around Jun's waist. "By the way your snake tattoo looks great! Will you be staying for the full week?"
Aoi nodded as she sat down on the couch. "Yep! I'm so excited to see you both again I hope I don't get in your way while I'm here." Hawks slid away from Jun and walked past her while checking the time.
"Of course not, our home is your home. I will be a bit busy for the next couple days but if Jun would come, and if you'd like to, I'd love it if you would come with me." He smirked holding out three tickets towards her.
"The UA sports festival!" She said after reading the tickets. "You…you got me a ticket too?"
"Of course I did. Besides, if you go maybe Jun will actually agree to go too." Hawks said while turning to smile at his boyfriend, who was looking rather solemn. "By the way, do you have anything that looks less 'I'm the most fashionable member of the Yakuza' that you could wear?"
Aoi smirked crossing her legs, her dress ran so short you could see the delicate frill from her panties peeking out. "Do you think I'm always on the hunt to seduce men Hawks?"
The hero walked past her to stand behind the couch and leaned forward, his hands gripping the back of the cushion so that he could easily whisper into her ear. "Not just any man.." he slowly used his fingers to turn her head toward Jun, causing her face to turn bright red. "Didn't think I'd notice?" Aoi felt a strange surge of fear shoot through her as Hawks playful voice turned serious.
She quickly stood up and spun around. "N-no! I'll go change now!" She grabbed her suitcase from by the doorway and disappeared into the spare room in a flash.
Jun raised an eyebrow as Hawks approached him, "What was that about?" He asked while the hero slid his fingers over his thin waist.
Hawks looked at the tattoo and smiled happily, "Who knows! Guess she wanted to wear something more comfortable."
Inside the bedroom Aoi stood with her back against the door, waiting for her heart rate to slow. She had never encountered that side of Hawks before and it was quite unnerving. Outside the door she could hear him happily chatting up his boyfriend like their brief interaction had ever happened. "What an evil fiend!" Aoi whispered under her breath. After she finally calmed down enough to stop shaking she changed into jeans and a T-shirt and rejoined the men.
Hawks stretched up to kiss Jun quickly on the lips before moving into the kitchen to find some food. "So the festival starts tomorrow, Kami you will be coming correct?" Hawks asked with his head in the fridge, "you can sit on the other side of Aoi if it would make it easier for you."
"Not really an option is there?" Jun said coldly. "You know I hate crowds Tenshi." He leaned over the stand alone counter and watched Hawks making a sandwich. Aoi had never heard him call Hawks Tenshi before and it made her snort back laughter. Jun looked over at her and frowned. "Shit.."
Based off his reaction Aoi assumed the pet name was a private thing between just the two of them. Meaning he was comfortable enough even with her around that it slipped out. "Kami, please please please go with me." Hawks reaches across the counter to touch his boyfriend's arm softly.
"Juni this is a HUGE event! Nobodies eyes will be on the cute guy sitting next to Hawks." She smiled leaning next to him. He looked back and forth from the two of them before resigning his efforts. "Yay!" Aoi exclaimed before helping herself to his kitchen.
The next morning Hawks slid his boots on and grinned while admiring Jun fix his hair. Aoi joined them within minutes, in dark blue jeans and a white top. "Ok, I'm so excited guys!" She said while grabbing a water bottle from the fridge, "I wonder what other pros will be there."
"If they aren't there watching they are patrolling, those bastard terrorist have put the city on high alert." Hawks had an angry tone to his voice when he spoke of the League of Villians, Aoi had only heard about them on the news. "I'm lucky to be able to watch it myself."
Aoi wrapped her hair up into a bun and pulled on her own shoes. "Do you think they will attack the festival?"
Hawks laughed darkly. "That would be pretty ballsy but dumb. With the amount of heroes that will be there they wouldn't last long."
Jun stood watching them, standing in front of the door. He waited until they were heading his way before he spoke. "Can we please take a taxi this time?" Both the hero and Aoi laughed and nodded.
"Already called one Kami." Hawks said while still laughing. They rode down the elevator chatting casually. Once outside Hawks grinned at them both. "I'm gonna go ahead though, it'll be a tight squeeze with my wings in that back seat." He stretched up to kiss Jun's cheek before taking off into the sky. Aoi laughed watching Jun go into panic mode from the sudden PDA.
After a brief ride to the stadium Aoi and her best friend started looking for their seats which, to Jun's dismay, weren't that far up at all putting them right in front of hundreds, thousands of people. It didn't take long to find their seat seeing as how Hawks was already seated and waving eagerly to them both. Jun silently walked past him and took his seat, while Aoi sat in the middle of them. "Woah Hawks how did you score such good seats? We should be able to see everything!" She excitedly turned to Jun. "Isn't this fun!" Hawks leaned forward and laughed at his boyfriends dry expression. "Juni it's fine, stop stressing so much and just enjoy yourself!" She smiled over at the hero who seemed to be not bothered by it. "Doesn't this drive you crazy?" She asked quietly.
Hawks crossed his legs and grinned. "We've been together for almost three years now, I know how to handle him." He stared down in into the large open play area just as Present Mic's voice began to ring through the stadium. He leaned forward a bit when the students began to rush out onto the field.
Aoi watched his intense golden eyes scan the crowd of teens. "He really gets into this doesn't he?" She asked her friend in a soft tone.
Jun looked over at her and pointed towards Hawks. "This ain't just a trip for our own enjoyment, this time he's scouting for an intern."
Aoi looked back down at the crowd as they listened to Midnight's speech. "I forget he's a hero sometimes.." Below them the students began to prepare for their first challenge. All eyes remained focused on the large screens while the students raced around the stadium, evading obstacle after obstacle. "These kids are really good! Juni who do you think will win?" She looked over and smiled at Jun.
"Well…I'm gonna guess the Todoroki from 1-A. He's actually very strong."
"That's Endeavor's kid! So he's gotta be tough!" Hawks said excitedly without taking his eyes off the screen. "I'm a big fan of his old man."
Aoi allowed her attention to wain from the front of the pack until a flash of yellow caught her eye. "Hey Hawks, who's the kid with the blonde hair? He's super cute!"
Jun rolled his eyes and leaned forward in his seat. "Idiot, there's a lot of them."
"So you have a thing for blondes Kami?" Hawks laughed while gently shaking his head to bounce his own blonde locks. Aoi laughed at his playful teasing, she was having a wonderful time. From then on they all remained quiet until the end of the second match.
"Woah that was an awesome ending! Hawks you should go for the one who won!" Aoi pauses looking at the leader boards. "I'm sure a lot of hero's will though."
"There's still more to see before anyone can make a decision." Hawks said while standing up. "I'm gonna grab some snacks. You guys want any?" They both were more than happy to give him their lists. After he was gone Jun leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed.
"What did he say to you yesterday?" The loaded question was so sudden Aoi didn't know how to respond.
"Wha?"
Jun stared down into the empty stadium, "Hawks said something to you yesterday to make you awfully startled. What was it?" He turned to look at her, his green eyes serious.
She didn't want to say he had pointed out that she still tried to seduce him after all these years. "Just girl talk Juni." She responded back with a smile. They sat quietly for another ten minutes or so before she spoke again. "He's taking a real long time to get back." She rose from her seat. "I'm gonna go check on him." Jun stood up beside her.
"I'll come with you..I have a feeling I know what happened." They both stepped out of the seating area and back into the concession area where Jun let out a loud groan before Aoi even saw their target. All she could see was a large crowd of woman formed into a circle as if there was a major cutie somewhere in the middle. "Aoi..do me a favor, can you blow wind into the crowd…somewhat aggressively and than back at me? Not so hard at me though. Try not to make it obvious it was you or your time in our city will be hard." She looked at him confused before shrugging.
"What ever you say Juni.." She smiled at him as she shot a hard breeze up, then down, before curving into into the crowd. She looked over at the crowd of woman who's eyes were all looking in multiple directions trying to find the source of the breeze and saw directly down the middle, a bright red pair of wings gently bouncing as their owner chatted up a fangirl, his arms full of snacks. Finally understanding she pushed the air a bit harder to completely part the crowd, enough to draw the hero's attention. The moment his eyes turned in her direction she moved the air back towards Jun, allowing it to gently hit him. The result was both spectacular and unexpected, Jun slid his hands behind his head, pulling the ribbon that bound it loose. His long blue and silver hair swayed gently in the breeze for just a moment before he ran his slender fingers through his hair and slid it back into a tight ponytail, leaving enough to bounce against his attractive face. To add a final touch he turned away just so Hawks could see his still fresh tattoo. The whole demonstration took only moments and to onlookers it would just appear as if he was fixing his hair but she saw the trap he had set and Aoi was quite impressed.
A sudden commotion from the crowd drew her attention back towards Hawks, who had fully spread his wings and lifted himself into the air. "Sorry ladies, but I should get these snacks back to their owners." He said with a wink just before flying over their heads and back to the stands. Jun quietly turned to head back himself but Aoi remained still while listening to all the women.
"He is so attractive!", "I wonder if he's dating anyone?", "I heard he has someone but nobody knows who. Very private.", "If I was dating him I'd want the world to know!" Aoi moved towards the middle of the assembly of woman and listened for another few minutes before laughing to herself and leaving. "I'm going to go find his seat and ask him out!" One woman said proudly as she walked towards the stands. Aoi, now concerned followed her outside and kept her distance as she tried to reach them first.
"Ex…excuse me Hawks?" The woman was to fast for Aoi who had rushed down the row behind theirs, there was nothing for her to do expect go back out towards the stairs and wait for her to leave. "Do you have a girlfriend?" Aoi froze in her steps and spun back around. Luckily most people were still out and about so there wasn't hardly anyone in the row with her.
Hawks looked up at the young attractive woman and smiled. "Nope." He's not lying, Aoi thought to herself.
"W-would you like to go out on a date sometime?" She bravely asked.
Hawks laughed lightly while running his fingers through his blonde hair. "Ah..sorry sweetie but I just don't have time for that kind of stuff in my life right now." Wow he let her down so kindly! Aoi noted to herself. After the now embarrassed girl rushed off to her friends Aoi rejoined the men, taking her seat between them.
"Doesn't that bother you at least a little Juni?" She asked while taking her nachos from Hawks.
Hawks answered for him, his cheeks turning a passionate shade of pink. "Kami knows who I want…" She smiled thinking about how he baited him back so smoothly. Below them the students that had won the last competition had started to enter the field for the final match. Aoi watched each match intently until the blonde haired boy appeared again.
"Him! Who is he?" She grabbed onto Hawks' sleeve and pointed down at the next match up.
"Oh that's Kaminari Denki. He's another one of the Class 1-A kids." His match ended pretty quick with his loss but his powerful electric attack made Aoi feel something she hadn't felt in sometime.
"I want to meet him!" She said to no one.
Hawks nodded towards Jun, "Jun helps out at the school from time to time with training programs, he's the man to talk to." She turned towards her friend and smirked seeing the annoyed look on his face.
"Please please PLEASE!" She pleaded. Her constant begs lasted for a good while before he slowly nodded his head to agree. "Oh thank you Juni!" Finally happy she watched the rest of the competition finally allowing Jun the peace he craved.
The following day Jun was generously given the day off by his boss to go introduce Aoi to her new crush. "Thanks Hawks!" She said happily as they left the apartment. She chatted about this and that while they walked until they finally stood outside the large school.
Jun grabbed her arm gently and looked at her, his serious eyes meeting hers. "Why did you wear your shortest dress Aoi? He's just a kid ya know?"
She pulled her arm away and smiled. "I just want to meet him. Besides…don't act like you were that innocent at 16." She smiled while he slid the guest pass around her neck. "It was hella cool for Hawks to set this up!"
"Luckily he has friends here..Aizawa straight up refused..I've built up trust with him since I moved here but he wants nothing to do with you.."
Aoi looked at him slightly concerned as they walked around the side of the building to a open field. "So who's class are we crashing?"
"JUN MY BOY!" Aoi jumped hearing the booming voice that approached them from behind. "YOU MUST BE MISS YAKAHAMA, IT'S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU! JUN HERE TOLD ME ALL ABOUT YOU!" Aoi stared in shock as All Might held his giant hand out to shake hers.
"He did?" She looked over at Jun who raised a suspicious eyebrow.
"WELL…NO" Aoi held out her own shaking hand out to meet his. "BUT HAWKS HAS! I'M EXCITED TO INTRODUCE YOU TO MY STUDENTS! GAINING THE TRUST AND FRIENDSHIP OF A HERO LIKE HAWKS WITH YOUR BACKGROUND IS A MAJOR FEAT!"
Aoi grinned, her cheeks blushing red. "Starting to regret your wardrobe?" Jun whispered in her ear. She ignored him and looked around the empty field.
"What exactly are you doing out here?" Aoi asked, her voice trembling lightly.
"IT'S A RARE OCCASION TO HAVE A POWERFUL MEMBER OF THE YAKUZA HERE, SO I'M TEAMING MY ENTIRE CLASS UP AGAINST YOU AND JUN!" All Might patted Jun's shoulder as the class started to exit the building onto the field.
"What the hell Jun!? I have to fight a bunch of pro heroes in training?" Aoi growled under her breath.
Jun smirked, "You wanted to meet him. This is what I do when I help out. I'll go light on them this time so you can actually join in." She stared at him, she was completely blown away by how he had changed since he started dating Hawks. Had she made any significant changes in her own life in the past couple years?
"TODAY I HAVE A VERY SPECIAL CHALLENGE FOR YOU." All Might pointed at his guests. "YOU HAVE ALL MET YOUNG JUN, BUT BESIDE HIM IS A REAL LIFE MEMBER OF THE YAKUZA." Aoi nervously looked around at the stares she was receiving. She had never felt so awkward and, honestly so scared in her life.
"Um…" Jun took a deep breath and forced a fake smile for her. "She's been my best friend since we were your age…so can we lose the dirty glares?" A couple of the students laughed and they all seemed to back down after that. She looked over at Jun and smiled.
All Might beamed brightly at the both of them before speaking to his class. "THESE TWO USED TO BE VILLAINS TOGETHER, WHICH MEANS THAT YOU ARE GOING AGAINST TWO REAL LIFE BAD GUYS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING TOGETHER AS A TEAM."
"Can we just DO THIS ALREADY?" A angry looking blonde kid shouted at All Might.
"YES OF COURSE YOUNG BAKAGOU! TIME TO TALK STRATEGIES CLASS." Aoi and Jun walked out to the middle of the field and watched as the group of students talked among themselves. Aoi took note of the ones who seemed to be the strategic ones and also that Bakagou seemed very angry to be a part of a meeting.
"Basically All Might is our captive, who we have to protect." Jun pointed to All Might who was carrying a thick rope and bag in his arms. The large hero sat down in between them and Jun began to tie him up. "We've done this exercise before, the students can't win until All Might is free from his binds." Jun tightened the rope so hard All Might winced.
Aoi looked at the large class, "Have you ever been defeated?" Jun smirked as he took the large black bag out of All Might's hand and slid it over the hero's head.
"Have you met me?" Jun responded cockily. The class seemed to have finished their meeting and were lining up to attack. Jun nodded at them to signify that they were ready too. "You want to win his heart? Show him how strong your quirk is." Jun whispered and nodded his head towards the blonde. "Just don't kill them." He added that final line with a sinister grin. The kids started charging at them, it was clear who were the front runners. Aoi activated her quirk and used to it lift All Might is high in the air, letting him sit on a soft cloud of air. This seemed to have caused a momentary pause for most of them but a few didn't miss a beat, jumping up for him, or using some form of quirk to try and grab him.
"These kids think they are good but they have a lot to learn." Aoi said while she knocked them all back down with powerful bursts of wind. Beside her Jun scanned their attackers, watching their movements closely.
"Up!" Jun cried out and grabbed onto her wrist as she lifted both of them up high just as a huge bust of flame flew beneath them. He let out a sigh of relief. "I'm so glad you haven't lost your reaction time."
Aoi looked at him with wide eyes. "He tried to burn us! Juni what the fuck!?"
"You watched the same festival as I did Aoi…these kids don't hold back." Jun said as he tugged on the bottom of her dress. "Watch out for the purple kid..he is probably trying to look up your tiny dress right now." Aoi looked down and sure enough he was below her, his eyes watering.
"Juni get rid of him!" Jun grinned while he activated his quirk, below him Mineta passed out from having his energy drained. "Little perv!"
Jun looked at the wind storm that now blew underneath them obscuring the view beneath them. Good thinking… Jun thought to himself. "DO YOU THINK A LITTLE WIND IS GOING TO STOP ME!" The angry blonde kid appeared in front of him, his hands shooting fire out of them to boost him into the air. "KOKIO I'LL KILL YOU THIS TIME GOD DAMN IT!" Jun smiled as Bakagou's eyes grew heavy and his body dropped to the ground.
"Jeez Juni, you don't hold back with them do you?" Aoi cried out, "maybe this is to hard for them?"
Jun looked down at the bound hero between them. "This is what he wants Aoi. If they can't defeat some petty villains like us than they will never beat the real bad guys…plus this is one of the few activities that get me really excited." Above them a large flock of bugs flew into their area and began to chew on All Might's rope. Aoi screamed such a sound that even All Might jumped from the shock. "Shit.." Jun whispered as he tried to brush the insects away.
"Juni I can't do this anymore!" She let the storm beneath them drop them fast towards the ground. Just before impact they softly landed in the center of the all the students. Slowly Jun lifted his arms to admit defeat as three of the students raced forward to apprehend them. As they approached they began to appear less energized and more bored.
"He's using his quirk, but not at his full power…is he letting us off easy this time?" A boy with green hair talked quickly off to the side of Aoi. She recognized him from the sports festival. "It's very unusual for us to still be at it this long..Is it because he brought her..? Is he trying to let her show off her own skills?" Aoi looked over at Jun who still had his arms raised. This is him going easy on them..so they are used to his full power? They didn't hold back on us, it seems a bit rude to hold back on them. Her mind raced before she made a decision. Aoi lifted her hand up and shot out a devastating burst of wind that blew all the students back at such an intense speed she had to quickly put up a wind barrier to catch them, but they were thrown at such speeds that even the wall of wind was a painful impact.
"Shit!" She ran forward to check on them. She heard Jun shout her name from behind but she was to concerned for the teens safety to look back, a major mistake on her part. A fully charged electric attack flew at her from above. Jun groaned, he used he quirk to zap her of her energy causing her to collapse. Kaminari's attack cracked the ground open just past where she lay.
"We're done." Jun said solemnly as he pulled off All Might's mask. When Aoi came to she was sitting up, her back against a tree.
"What..what happened?" She looked around, her grogginess was still heavy. In front of her she finally focused on the concerned face of Kaminari.
"I am so sorry Ma'am!" He sat down in front of her and covered his face with his hands.
She smiled at him, her cheeks felt warm. "Why are you sorry?"
Kaminari looked up at her and smiled. "I went to far, you aren't someone that I should be using my full power on." Her heart melted from his smile.
"Where is everyone else?" She just noticed no one else was outside with them.
Kaminari laughed, his right hand gently brushing through his blonde hair. "I was the only one not in the path of that crazy strong wind attack. Plus Jun..he said that I had to be the one to stay with you while he helped the others to the nurses office…since I'm the one who 'tried to kill you'. His words."
Aoi grinned at him, nice one Juni! She thought to herself. "I watched you in the sports festival."
He looked down, his cheeks flushed. "Why? I lost." Aoi wanted to hug him tight.
She gently touched his arm. "You are super cute Kaminari, can I take you on a date?" The teens eyes lit up with shock.
"Uh..I'm just a kid ma….ma'am!" He fidgeted in front of her, turning her on more. "You can do way better than me." Aoi used the tree to stand up and brushed off her dress.
"I know, I just don't want to." He looked away from her as she adjusted her dress. "Do you think Juni stuck you with me for punishment? I've had my eyes on you since the festival. I came here to meet you." She smirked watching him react to her confession. "You think about it alright?" She smiled at him, "can you show me to where Juni might be hiding?"
He nodded and walked beside her, "He let's you call him that?" She laughed and looked over at him.
"I've known Juni for a long time..his family calls him that and that's where I got it from." When they walked in the school the little class perv was racing towards them. "Ew…"
Kaminari laughed and pointed at him. "That's Mineta. He's definitely a gross perv but he's like my best friend. I'm sorry for how was behaving earlier." Aoi couldn't understand how they were compatible as friends.
She watched them interact and that's when it dawned on her. "Say Kaminari…you are a perv to aren't you?"
"Woah she knows your name?" The short one whispered to his friend.
Aoi took advantage of the friendship and looked down sadly. "I asked him out on a date and he told me no…It was lust at first sight but…alas it's not meant to be."
Mineta grabbed onto Kaminari, his eyes shooting darts. "This hot, older woman wants you and you said no? Look at that dress she's practically begging for you to take her!" Aoi bit back the urge to smack him. "Don't pass up on such a prime piece of woman!"
"But she's a member of the Yakuza…" Aoi was enjoying how they were trying to whisper horribly.
"Exactly dude! How hot is that?" Aoi sighed while gently brushing her hair behind her ear. "MAKE HER YOURS!"
Kaminari jumped back and bumped into her. "Ah I'm sorry! Uh..ok, I'll try one date with you."
Aoi smirked and asked for his phone so she could program her number in it. The moment she hit save Jun appeared out of a nearby room. "Can we go now?" He said with a bored tone.
"Yep! Call me Kaminari! I'm in town for the rest of the week so don't wait to long!" She turned to walk away with Jun. Behind them they could hear the boys talk.
"Woah, Jun has known her for years and never tried anything?" Mineta said in an amazed tone.
"Dude.." Kaminari said just as they opened the doors to leave. "He likes guys…you didn't know?"
Aoi snorted out a laugh as they walked out. Jun yawned, his arms behind his back as he walked. "I can't wait to get home, I just want to cuddle with Tenshi."
Aoi punched him in the arm, "I cannot believe how sappy you to are! Kami and Tenshi? I have never met a couple that refers to each other as a God and an Angel."
Jun waved down a taxi and looked down at her. "Jealous?" She huffed loudly as she climbed in with him. "Think he will call?"
She watched the street fly by out the window as they rode, "If not its fine..I'll find him again. I'm a patient woman." That night at dinner Aoi told Hawks about everything that had happened, leaving Jun with little to say. Not that he seemed to mind, he was curled up on the couch with his head resting against his boyfriend's shoulder, all while eating. "It's still so unreal how different he is around you…" Aoi pointed out between bites. "at least in private situations like this."
Hawks folded his arm back to gently rub Jun's cheek with his thumb. "I have a fun idea! Let's go on a double date!" Jun was so shocked he actually fell off the couch. "Come on Kami, it'll be fun! Plus she's only here for a week." He reached his hand down and grabbed Jun's arm to pull him up. "I can reserve us a private area so no one sees us like I usually do."
Aoi looked at her best friend with pleading eyes. "Fine.."
"Aahhhh this is going to be so fun! Plus I think Kaminari will be more comfortable with Juni there!" Hawks raised an eyebrow while she spoke but didn't say a word.
After school let out the following day Kaminari was ambushed on his way out of school. "Kaminari it's the chick from before! Go for it!" Mineta whispered as they approached her. "Good luck!" He held up a thumb as he walked away leaving his friend behind.
"H-hi again.." Kaminari was still clearly nervous around her.
She smiled brightly at him. "So we had a great idea! How about a double date with Jun and his boyfriend? Would that put you in a bit more ease?" She felt her heart leap when he smiled softly.
"Yeah..do you guys wanna do it tonight?" Aoi grinned while linking her arm in his.
"Let's go get you changed into something nice sweetheart." She said as they walked towards the bus. "The Yakuza will look good on you."
"You didn't tell me his boyfriend was a pro!" Kaminari whispered urgently to Aoi. They had met up inside the restaurant and the anxious teen stood close to Aoi, his eyes glistening. "This isn't better at all!"
Aoi leaned over and whispered into his ear. "You are going to love him."
Hawks and Jun sat at a table in the conference room, completely alone as promised. Kaminari stared in shock at Jun who was leaned over and pointed things out on the hero's menu. Hawks looked up when he heard them. "Wow Aoi, you dressed him up good!" Kaminari smiled faintly, he was dressed in a black suit with a white under shirt. He tried to puff himself up, causing Aoi to giggle.
"Well if he's going to be seen with me on a date then I want us both to look nice." Aoi said while sitting down with them. "So they just let you have the whole banquet area?"
Jun flipped through the menu, not acknowledging anyone. "Yeah, we've explained the Jun thing to them so it's no big deal." Hawks said, his fingers twirling in his lovers hair.
Kaminari watched them, his hand twitching. "Don't worry," Aoi saw him clearly struggling to mimic them. "They are so lovey dovey it's sickening. Let's just be normal ok?" She smiled at him as she opened her menu. "Get what ever you want, my treat." Kaminari blushed when he's eyes met the judgmental glare from Jun across the table.
Hawks sat down his menu and smiled happily at the teen. "There's really no need to be nervous around me Kaminari, besides you are used to a way more famous hero than the likes of myself." Aoi stared down at the glass of water in front of her. She heard the tone he used when he said Kaminari and it pissed her off. "Has Jun-Chan presented a challenge for you at school?"
Jun sighed loudly, clearly annoyed. The teen took it as annoyance towards him and not his boyfriend causing him to shout out his response, "He is way hard to beat! No one in our class as even stood a chance against him."
Aoi was relieved when their food arrived, of course by then her date was quite chatty, it's hard not to open up around Hawks. "So Kaminari," She said while taking a small bite of her lobster, "I'm assuming you don't have a girlfriend?"
Kaminari looked up at her, his eyes wide. "Why would you think that?"
She laughed, her fingers slid over the top of his thigh underneath the table. "You wouldn't have agreed on this date if you had one." Beside her the blonde's face turned a deep shade of red. "We should get together later.."
"Aoi." She looked up at Jun who was pointing his chopstick at her. "Are you seriously thinking of bringing the kid to our house? I feel like we're breaking some kind of rule already." Beside him Hawks started snickering. "What the Hell?" Jun turned towards him, a look of hatred in his eyes.
The hero grabbed his cheeks and kissed him deeply on the lips, an action that Kaminari didn't quite know how to react to. "Kami…" Hawks said quietly against his lips. "Don't you remember how old you were when we started dating? Who are we to judge?"
The young blonde stared down at his food, obviously upset. "I'm getting uncomfortable you guys..I think I should head home." Hawks smiled and rose from his seat.
"I'm sorry we made you feel unfortunately Kaminari, we aren't used to having such a..young guest among us." The hero smiled while calling over the waitress for boxes. "I'll take you home, are you OK if we fly?" Kaminari laughed nervously following the hero out of the restaurant.
"Way to go slut." Jun said casually as he stood up.
Aoi followed suit leaving the restaurant with him. "Shut up.." She growled to him as they climbed in a taxi.
A couple of days passed before Aoi heard anything from the blonde would be hero. He had shown up at the apartment unannounced. "How did you find my house?" Aoi heard Jun's voice carry into the open guest room doorway.
"Uh…I asked around..and um.." Jun turned on his heel leaving the door open.
"Aoi, someones here for you." Jun said as she eagerly moved past him. "Oh Kaminari…" he turned back to glare at him. "Tell no one where I live. Understand?"
The blonde smiled at her, she was dressed in tight blue jeans and a tank top. "I understand..You look really pretty when you aren't all dressed up." Aoi blushed and took his hand.
"Come chat with me! I promise I won't try anything OK?" She pulled him into the apartment and shut her bedroom door once they had both crossed the threshold. "Don't be nervous, Jun comes off like an angry toad but he's actually very sweet." Kaminari looked around the room.
"When are you going home?" He asked, his body stiff.
"Day after tomorrow, I'm planning to stay at least until Jun and Hawks get home from work tomorrow so we can have a nice cookout. Hawks says it's a good bye party until next time." She sat on the edge of her bed. "Would you like to come too? It would make me real happy if you did."
She held out her hand, pulling him closer when he took it. "I would like that too." He said while sitting beside her. His face looked so serious she was growing concerned.
"What's wrong?"
He touched her hands gently and weakly smiled. "It's really hard to ask you out." He laughed awkwardly as the words came out.
She smirked leaning closer towards him. "You want me to be your girlfriend?"
Kaminari looked into her pale golden eyes and grinned. "Yeah." She giggles before pushing her lips against his, she was moving without thinking.
"Oh shoot I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be so forward with you!" She cried out as she pulled away. He was so innocent and his shocked eyes made it even more clear how inexperienced he was. "I don't know how often we'd be able to see each other, I can't just up and move cities, I'm part of something bigger." Kaminari looked down disappointed, "but…we can make it work right? It's not that far away so whenever we can meet up we should!"
He held his hands together in his lap, his finger nervously squeezing each other. "Have.." it was clear he was struggling to talk about something. "Can you tell me what it's like being in the Yakuza?"
Aoi grinned wide and sat crossed legged on the bed beside him. "It's a lot like being in a really big family of big brothers that are jerks to everyone else except their family. I've had…some really bad moments in my past and for the most part they have always been there to support me." Kaminari pulled his leg underneath himself while she talked, his body becoming more relaxed. "We aren't good people though don't misunderstand. We don't hurt people for no reason, usually, but torture and murder is a regular part of my life. I see violence so much that I don't see it as anything more than a part of my job." She watched for his reactions, fearing he would run away.
Instead however his eyes lit up like fire. "So you are like, a super badass chick? How did you get into the Yakuza?"
Taking a deep breath after her fear was proven to be wrong Aoi was ready to answer his questions. "My whole family was in it, it only made sense for me to join too."
"Is Jun a member too?" Kaminari was becoming more curious than she had expected.
"Nope, I met him in high school and pretty much forced my way into his solitude life." She smiled, she loved remembering those days. "He is under the protection of our Yakuza branch however, so is Hawks to that extent."
"Woah a pro hero is under your protection?"
Aoi held her fingers over his lips, "its sorta a secret though so can you not talk about it?"
Kaminari blushed feeling her fingers, he slowly gripped her arm in both hands and moved her hand. "Why me? You are beautiful and strong.."
Aoi jumped onto his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You are super cute and really powerful too Kaminari, don't doubt yourself."
He leaned his head into her neck and sighed, "I wish you could stay longer..even a day." She grinned, her fingers sliding though his messy hair.
"Can I walk you home?" She asked quietly, her heart breaking from the thought of leaving him.
The next morning Aoi smiled in the mirror after applying the light amount of makeup she wears. She planned on surprising him after school, so she wanted to look her best. After cleaning up the room and packing up her belongings she began to grow restless. Although extremely early, she left the quiet apartment and headed toward U.A. After leaving the taxi she started to approach the school, but a familiar voice caused her pause. "Why are you here Aoi?" Jun said as he walked towards her, beside him was Hawks, happily smiling. "Come to visit your new little toy?" Hawks grabbed Jun's fingers and lifted himself into the air to whisper into his boyfriend's ear. "Shut up you bastard!" Jun harshly whispered, his cheeks turning a passionate shade of red.
Aoi watched Jun and Hawks walk into the school grounds and wondered what they were up to, she was even more curious of what Hawks said to Jun. "MISS YAKAHAMA!" Aoi jumped from the sudden sound of All Might's voice.
"Is there a reason why the Yakuza is back at my school?" She felt a sudden nervousness realizing Eraser Head was standing beside All Might. "Recruitment?"
"What? No no I'm just near to meet someone!" Aoi immediately moved to defend herself.
"WE HAVE A MEETING TO GET TO ERASER, MISS YAKAHAMA, JUN IS KEEPING MY CLASS BUSY FOR ME UNTIL THE MEETINGS FINISHED, YOU GAVE THE CLASS QUITE THE STRUGGLE THE LAST TIME, WHY NOT JOIN HIM?" All Might patted her back and both heroes walked onto the school grounds, followed nervously by Aoi. She followed them the large school and ducked into the classroom All Might pointed at before they went up the stairs.
Inside she saw all the students chatting with each other, except for one, a red haired boy with horns lounged at his desk talking to Jun, who sat atop the desk in front of him. She smiled seeing how casually they talked. The moment Jun caught her eye he looked away, immediately returning to carry on his conversation. "Juni, All Might told me to come in.." she said softly as she approached him.
"Who's that?" The boy asked Jun curiously. Aoi didn't recognize him either.
"If you hadn't skipped school the other day you would have met her, this is a friend of mine, Yakahama Aoi." Jun said, a soft smirk on his face. Aoi was mystified by their friendship.
"I told you I didn't skip asshole! I was sick." He snapped back at Jun, "Nice to meet you Yakahama.." He said while turning to look at her.
"Please, just call me Aoi, it's nice to meet you too." She wanted to look for Kaminari but didn't want to appear rude. Jun being the way he is, pointed towards the front of the room, where a small gang of boys stood chatting.
"He's over there." He said dryly, never looking up at her, "Hibiki are you ready? I wanna beat you again quickly so I can go home."
Hibiki stood up from his desk and stretched his arms above his head. "You are getting to cocky for your own good Kokio. Just going to make it quite a bit harder for you to fail when I kick your ass."
Aoi watched them walk out of the classroom and turned to grab Kaminari's attention but it seems as if he saw her on his own. "Hey what are you doing here?" He gave a couple of his friends an immature thumbs up.
Aoi winked at the same boys before sliding her slender fingers into his. "I wanted to surprise you! I sorta expected Juni to be fighting with all you again based off what All Might said."
Kaminari blushed feeling her grip, causing her to smirk. "I think him and Hibiki have a private training thing today, they usually meet up after school but Jun said he was busy today." Kaminari thought for a moment before realizing what was going on. "Oh cus he's having a party for you!"
"Woah Hibiki is actually able to transform some of his body! He's getting really strong!" Aoi heard the student with red spiky hair shout while looking out the window. "Bakagou check it out."
The angry blonde kid growled at his desk, "Who gives a shit!?"
Kaminari let his fingers slip out of Aoi's to go look with him, curious about what was happening outside. She peered down the window and grinned seeing Jun standing as bored looking as ever, while the boy in front of him struggled to make his body take shape. "That's a neat quirk, can he turn into a whole animal?" Aoi asked her blonde boyfriend.
"Nah, He can change each body part into a different species, but not all into the same. It's crazy cool to watch! Jun isn't even putting in any effort though, like usual." Kaminari was such an excited fanboy when he let his guard down.
"I hate that bastard!" Bakagou said while standing to peer down at them. "Everyone loves that stupid punk but I'll kill him!" He stormed out of the classroom without another word.
"Don't mind him, he hates Jun cus he can't beat him in a fight no matter how hard he tries." Kirashima smiled reassuring her. "He won't actually kill him..hopefully. If anything he will try harder to beat him."
Aoi grinned back at her blonde hero in training who was now actively chatting away with his friends. She was incredibly happy in that moment and for her it could never end. She hated that she had to leave in just a few short hours after finding such a sweet boyfriend, but she had responsibilities back home that she couldn't avoid. "Are you OK Aoi?" Kaminari gently touched her arm as he spoke. "You look like your off in another world."
She smiled at him, "I'm just not ready to leave you yet…can we head out soon? I know schools not over yet but it's not like you are exactly learning anything right now." Kaminari grinned and nodded. "We can just go back to Juni's place a little early!" She pressed the palm of her hand against his back and ushered him out of the classroom. They chatted idly as they walked down the sidewalk, hand in hand. "Hawks can be kind of a douche when it comes to Juni, but in general he's a super nice guy!" She responded to his inquiry on the hero, "he's faster than anyone I've ever seen!"
Kaminari squeezed her fingers, "I still can't believe the number three Hero is dating an ex villain and is super close friends with a member of the Yakuza!" He smiled following her into the apartment, admiring her as she let her jet black hair fall down against her back. "You are really pretty.."
She giggled looking back at him as she shut her bedroom door. "So are you sweetie."
He watched as she took a few steps, enough to close the distance gap between them as his legs bumped into the bed. "I..I think you are probably a lot more experienced at this kind of stuff than I am…" He blushed when she slid her fingers around his head and into his blonde hair. "I am at your mercy!" He fell to his knees, wrapping his arms around her thin legs.
Aoi couldn't hold back the laughter any longer, she patted his head and grinned. "Oh don't worry, I plan to teach you everything I know." She lowered down to her knees in front of him and slid her fingers under his chin as she kissed his lips passionately. When she opened her eyes she couldn't help but giggle at how cute his expression had become. "You are the most adorable thing I've ever seen!"
A soft knock on the door drew their attention away from each other. After Aoi stood up the look on Kaminari's face couldn't be described as anything less than relief. "Don't be doing anything gross with him in my house Aoi.." The teen looked past his new girlfriend and met the eyes of Jun.
"W-we're not doing anything!" Kaminari cried out, the intimidating glare still watching him.
Aoi shoved Jun hard in the chest as she snapped out her remark, "Once again Juni, what I do with my boyfriend is none of your damn concern! Let's remember you were more than happy to hook up with him wherever you felt like!"
On cue Hawks appeared behind Jun, his smaller form squeezing in between them, smacking Jun with feathers. "Aoi sweetie, if you wanna bang that kid before you go home who are we to stop you..personally I'd love it if you came to your going away party first but who am I, except for the humble host of such a party."
She laughed lightly, looking back at the blonde behind her, "Seems I'll have to teach you a few things later on."
"THE PARTY CAN START BECAUSE I AM HERE!" A booming voice drew all their eyes to the open front door.
Hawks laughed, smacking Jun again with his wings as he raced over to grab the bag of glass bottles from All Might. "Wow, you brought so much alcohol All Might!"
"WITH A BODY BUILD LIKE MINE I HAVE TO INTAKE QUITE A LOT FOR THE DESIRED EFFECT." He responded while shutting the door behind him. Kaminari peeked his head out of the bedroom door hearing his teachers voice. "OH YOUNG KAMINARI, DO ME A FAVOR AND DON'T TELL YOUR CLASSMATES ABOUT THIS WILL YA?"
Kaminari nodded, a wide grin on his face. "Can I drink too?" Aoi and Hawks responded "sure" almost in unison with Jun and the number one Hero's "no".
"If you get stupid you could shock us all to death you moron, not something I want." Jun said while pouring his own drink. "Besides.."
"Oh Juni let the kid have some fun with his sexy new girlfriend!" Hawks said, cutting Jun off by handing Kaminari a full glass of red liquid. All Might sighed, giving a disappointing look to Hawks. "You too! You're off duty so just pretend for once that you aren't a hero."
By this point the teen had already drink half the glass while Aoi was making him another. "It's not like he isn't in a safe place All Might, there are two pro heroes here! Not to mention Juni and I."
Beside her Kaminari was grinning as he was handed another full glass. The group chatted and drink, enjoying the last moments they would have with Aoi for a few more hours. All Might had disappeared out onto the balcony with Hawks at some point in the eventful evening leaving Jun alone with the couple. "Aoi…can I talk to your new toy in private for a minute?" She laughed as she stood up, her legs wobbly. "It'll only take a second.." He stared at the intoxicated blonde in front of him until she finally managed to stumble outside with the heroes.
"Juniii…" Kaminari laughed out, his cheeks red from the alcohol. "You are tough competition you know…"
Ignoring his comment Jun sat down beside him where Aoi had just been and pushed him back against he couch, slowly climbing onto his lap. "Do you think I'm OK with you calling me that? I only allow a select few to…" He ran his middle finger against Kaminari's cheek causing the teens eyes to open wide as he began to realize what was happening. "Are you special enough to me for that?"
Kaminari urgently shook his head, hoping for the older man to get off of him. He had never seen Jun's seductive side and he was terrified of his power. "I am so sorry…"
Jun smirked, the boy was beginning to sober up just like he wanted. "The next time you call me Juni, I will make you my new play toy…understand?"
The blonde stared wide at the eyes that grew closer to his own. Jun smiled just as their lips were about to touch. "I get it!" Kaminari gently pushed him back, turning his head away. "I was just being stupid Jun."
Instead of climbing off of his lap, Jun grabbed onto his chin and leaned down to whisper in his ear, his lips gently grazing against him. "Make sure you are ready for her little lighting bolt…she will kill you without hesitation if the mood is right." He slid back and stood above the trembling blonde. "I'm glad I was able to speak to you now before that happens.."
Finally free Kaminari stood up as well, having to lift his gaze to see his face. "Aren't you supposed to be her best friend? What about any of this was something a typical best friend does?"
Jun gently patted the blondes cheek and smirked. "Who said I was typical…?" He shrugged hearing the door opened as the rest of the party returned. "Do what you want…this was an honest warning. Trust me..as her best friend I'm well aware of what she's capable of." He grinned feeling the extremely drunk Hawks slide his hands underneath his arms, lifting him slightly into the air. Jun gave Kaminari one finally look before allowing the winged hero to drag him off into their bedroom.
"WELL I'M OFF, YOUNG KAMINARI MAKE SURE YOU GET HOME SAFE NOW!" All Might said cheerfully before hugging Aoi and walking out the front door.
Aoi turned around and smiled at her young boyfriend. "What did Juni want?"
Kaminari bravely walked closer to her, his height just barely above hers. He leaned down and kissed her softly on her warm lips, drinking in the scent and flavor wafting off of her. "Just stupid boyfriend talk.." He whispered against her lips. Aoi grabbed him by his arm and pulled him with her into the guest room. She forced him down onto the bed and began kissing him underneath his chin, while simultaneously sliding her fingers into the brim of his pants. "A-Aoi…n-no!" He said as he pushed her back gently. "I'm not ready yet! W-we just started dating so can we pump the breaks?" He's impulsive defenses made Aoi giggle as she hugged him tightly.
"Of course sweetie." She replied with a grin. "I got over excited when you made a move all on your own. Can I take you home?"
Kaminari shook his head no and smiled at her, "I think I need the time to calm down" He said with a nervous laugh. "When are you leaving? I want to see you before you go."
"I'll be leaving fairly early. Juni is gonna drive me home, Hawks has some important hero work to deal with so I don't want to get in his way."
Kaminari kissed her cheek before standing up, "You guys all play like you get on each other's nerves but it's apparent how close you all are and how important each of you is to the other." Aoi held his hand while they walked to the door, "Well, I'll see try to see you before you leave…if not.."
Aoi wrapped her arms around him. "I adore you, don't forget about me and go after some girl your own age." He laughed as he walked out of the apartment. The following morning Aoi yawned as she sat atop her suitcase, hours before Kaminari would wake up.
"Well, I'm so glad I was able to help you find a new toy.." Jun said as he playfully shoved her off the case so he could pick it up. "Maybe next time I'll help you find a new purse."
"Shut up Juni!" She punched him in the back as she followed him out to the car.
"Don't think I'll go easy on the kid just cus he's dating you. If anything I'll have to toughen him up even more." Jun said with an evil smirk while closing the trunk.
Aoi sat down in the passenger seat of the car and smiled at the tall man that got into the drivers seat. "I love you the most Juni, stop being so jealous." He huffed as they began to drive. "It's not my fault you are gay." Jun smirked as she cheerfully talked to him, just like old times.
