This was something I did last Christmas xD I never posted it, and since the season is here and the actual holiday is near, I thought 'Might as well!' seeing as my profile is completely empty xD

Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Gokudera didn't believe in Christmas. In fact, he hated it. The happiness in the air, the mushy feelings everywhere...it made him want to puke really. He had always held some negative feelings towards the season. It made him overall...angry.

Though, he couldn't help but smile and grin when Tsuna was so excited about it.

The tenth head of the Vongola family was the only thing Gokudera felt comfortable with calling absolutely adorable. In his mind of course. Reborn and that baseball freak would never let him live it down if he ever said anything like that outloud. Even more, his sister would taunt him for the rest of his life. And Gokudera, being chronically allergic to her face, would not be able to defend himself.

He couldn't help but be happy that this time, he was spending the Christmas with Tsuna rather than with his family. He actually helped decorate the Christmas tree a couple of days ago, something that Gokudera would have never seen himself doing, if Tsuna hadn't asked him with that sweet smile. The one that he could never say 'no' to.

When the time for the party came, his mood dampened slightly. Everyone was coming over now, and that included Kyoko. He liked her...he just didn't like all the attention that Tsuna always paid to her, almost forgetting about, well...him.

Even so, he tried to enjoy himself as much as possible. He played around with Lambo and I-pin, ate Mama's delicious food and once or twice held himself from slapping Yamamoto upside the head. The boy really still thought that all of what they have been through was all a game. That, or he was just in plain denial. Gokudera leaned towards the latter.

After what seemed like a couple of hours, it was time to open up the gifts. He, as the right hand man of Tsuna, was of course to help the 10th in giving the gifts.

"Oi, Gokudera, Tsuna!" he heard Yamamoto call them from his sitting position a ways away.

They both looked at each other and then towards the voice, a questioning look on their faces.

Yamamoto grinned, pointing up towards their heads.

Gokudera felt his stomach do a little flip, before looking up. He could already hear Tsuna stuttering and saw his face turning a steady blood red. Above their heads...was hanging a little branch of mistletoe.

Without waiting for a move from Tsuna, since he will probably just keep stuttering and blushing and eventually faint from the lack of blood in his brain, Gokudera leaned down and kissed the 10th's cheek. He then proceeded to keep on handing out the gifts, ignoring the slight burn on his own cheeks as they flushed and especially trying to avoid looking at Yamamoto's knowing eyes.

Afterwards, he decided that he didn't mind Christmas so much...as long as he got to spend it with his real family.
