Batman: Gotham Sanctuary Season 1 Episode 2 Sanctuary For All Part 2
Barbara ask the boy his name and why is his symbiote killing people. The boy told Barbara that his name is Alexi, and he also told her that his symbiote only kills if he feels frightened. While Barbara questions Alexi, Bruce did some research on Alexi and he found out that Alexi is from Chernobyl. That means his mutation has been caused by the Chernobyl disaster. Meanwhile, the Joker aka Jack Napier, who appears to have the power to teleport anywhere at will, arrives infront of the Sanctuary, although he is at first prevented from entering by some kind of force barrier. Then Joker locates Robin aka Dick Grayson and confronts him; after a struggle, he and one of his colleagues are able to subdue him by using tranquillizers and a powerful Taser. Meanwhile, Commissioner Gordon called Batman to investigate the murder of a female prostitute in Falcone shipping yards. When Batman examine the body with his detective vision, he found a handprint on the victim's right cheek. He search the data base and found a match, the handprint belongs to Jack Napier aka the Joker. Then Batman return to the Sanctuary. Soon after Robin has brought the Joker inside the Sanctuary, he reveals that he has allowed himself to be captured. He immediately escapes and forces Bruce's technical expert Jason Bard to shut down the EM shield. Now free to teleport at will, he appears in Bruce's study, seizes Robin, teleports away with him, and imprisons him in the enclosure of one of the deadlist abnormals, as a means of forcing Batman to do his bidding. However, unknown to Joker, Robin is quickly rescued by Barbara and Alfred. Joker then returns to Batman, he told Batman that he got his new power from a secret order. Then they fought. Batman manages to inject poison into Joker, hoping to end his reign of terror. But Joker manages to teleport away. Soon after, Barbara's repressd childhood memories are triggered by the sight of the abnormal from which Robin has just been rescued. She finally realises that it was Batman who had saved her as a little girl from the monster that killed her mother. He told her that his family have been finding, helping and protecting abnormals since the 1800s. After that, Barbara became Batgirl.
