So, I'm just gonna put all of my drabbles and short one-shots in here. Kinda like a recycling bin or something. I wrote this one last night when I was about to go to bed, but couldn't fall asleep. Most of them are probably gonna be in Jade's POV or 3rd person POV.
'Jade. Jade, wake up. We're gonna be late for school.' I groan and open one eye to look at the person who woke me up.
'Can't we just skip today, Vega?' I ask my girlfriend, really not wanting to get out of bed.
'You're such a lazy ass, babe.' She says, making me smirk a little because I'm the only person she curses around.
'I don't see you doing anything about it.' I close my eyes again.
She cuddles up against me and sighs. 'Because I'm a lazy ass too and I'd much rather be cuddled up to my girlfriend in bed than in a boring classroom crowded with people all day.'
I chuckle at her reasoning and pull her closer, kissing the side of her head. 'I'd take cuddling with you over class any day.'
I start dozing off again when I hear her speak. 'What if I never covered for Trina during that big showcase our sophomore year?'
'When her tongue went all potato?' I ask.
I feel her nod and I sigh. 'Then you never would've gotten accepted into Hollywood Arts, never would've transferred from Sherwood, never would've spilled coffee on Beck, I never would've yelled at you that first day, and it would've taken a lot longer to get to where we are now.'
I feel her lift her head so I open my eyes to look back at her. 'What do you mean?'
'You're my soul mate, Vega. Obviously we would've met at some point in our lives. It just would've taken a while longer.' I say, meaning every word.
'I'm your soul mate?' Vega asks me, disbelief and happiness making an appearance in her voice.
'That small speech and THAT'S all you gather?' I laugh.
'Shut up. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thinks we're soul mates.' She snuggles up against me again and we lay there for the rest of the day, enjoying the closeness of one another.
Sorry this was so short, I really didn't know where I was headed with this one. It just kinda happened haha.
