Hey I'm trying to find this story but I'm really struggling so if anyone can help me it would really mean a lot to me.
It's an AU-ish ROMY oneshot, set in New Orleans. In the story Rogue (under the name of Marie) is working as a waitress. During the fic is visited at work by a young street-rat named Remy (who it appears she has met before and befriended) and she goes and gets him something eat (I think). He then later gives her an expensive watch, which she deduces he has stolen. After some more dialog, Remy leaves, and an older gentleman, who Marie had been serving before Remy appeared and had silently been observing their (Remy and Marie's) conversation, is identified as Jean-Luc LeBeau, and leaves the cafe in search of Remy (it is implied he is going offer to adopt him, as in the comics)
If anyone has any info about if the story still exists, and if so where it is, please answer in the reviews.
