Anyway, this is for a really, really good friend of mine who totally adores DantexZhalia. It's really short - only 256 words, but I hope you like it!

Zhalia Moon stood on the sidewalk, her bag of belongings in hand, waiting for a cab. Her mind replayed her almost-betrayal over and over again.

How could they have forgiven her so easily?

Dante...

He trusted her without a doubt, despite all her suspicious behaviour. And what did he get in return? She nearly killed all of them.

Thunder clapped in the heavens. Rain poured down over the blue-haired woman. For once, she allowed herself to smile.

Her memories of childhood weren't pleasant, but there was one which always made her smile.

It was raining. Young Zhalia twirled in the pouring rain, her wet hair framed messily around her small face.

"Look! Look! I'm a ballerina!" She smiled to the walls that were watching her.

"I'm no ballerina..." she murmured to herself.

Suddenly, a shadow fell upon her and she could no longer feel the rain hitting her skin. She looked up and saw an umbrella above her head.

"Dante?"

Dante smiled.

"Where were you planning to go with those bags?"

Zhalia looked away.

"I have no right to stay. I betrayed all of your trust."

"Sophie and Lok, they've forgiven you. I've forgiven you."

"But still - "

Before Zhalia could finish her sentence, she felt a pair of warm lips over hers. Surprise paralysed her for a moment, but desire soon took over and she began to kiss him back.

"Join the foundation, Zhalia. For me," Dante asked as he pulled away for air.

Zhalia smiled as Dante embraced her shivering form.

For us...
