Meredith was late, her first day and she was late. She had no idea, where Room 221B was located. she stopped and tried to find it on the map again.

"you lost?" a man's voice called out to her.

"umm. no i'm just not in the right place." she said looking up at the man.

"Oh ok, but i'm going to count this as your lost, can i help you with what your looking for?" he smirked.

"Uggh. 221B" she said. She hated asking for help, it made her look weak. Which she wasn't.

"221B huh, you must be a freshman, no one can ever find that room." he smiled at her. "Welcome to Central Seattle Medical School, I'm Derek Shepherd, Sophomore. Surgery you?"

Meredith smiled at Derek. "Meredith Grey, Freshman, Surgery."

"Grey? You not related to-"

"The prestedgious Elis Grey? Yes she's my mother."

"wow."

"Yeah...so are you going to show me around or not?"

Derek smiled, he liked this she was hot and she was...innocent. He had to protect her from Mark. "Sure." They talked until they got to the room and Derek and Meredith exchanged phone numbers with promises to get coffee one day this week. They both felt something between them.

Meredith opened the door to the classroom and took the last empty chair near the back. As soon as she sat down a blonde girl who really didn't look like she belong in Medical school turned to her. "Hi I'm Isobel Stevens, but you can call me Izzie, and this is George O'Malley, my best friend in the whole world." She smiled at Meredith. George laughed at Izzie, and said Hello to them both and introduced herself. At the end of the lesson the trio walked out together.

"Ok this m ay seem wierd, but i have to go get a dorm room to stay in, i'm kinda last minute." she laughed at herself. George and izzie laughed as well and went to the lunch hall and grabbed some food.

"So George, I couldn't help but notice that you were staring intently and Meredith." Izzie smiled knowingly.

"Shit, was it really that n oticable?" George said worridly.

Izzie just laughed at him "Ok so after lunch you have to come and meet one of my roommates she's so crazy and sarcastic you will laugh so hard. she's kinda like Sarah, back from highschool."

"Whats her name?" "Christina...Yung...Yeng...Yang, something like that anyway she's Asian and Awesome!!"
