Between Vatuu and the Red Lotus, Korra had pretty much cast aside all thoughts of the Equalists. To be rather frank, they were nothing compared to her latest foes. Sure Amon was creepy…but only when buried behind his mask.

They made themselves so easy to forget. They hadn't really seemed to cause any more problems without Amon.

Much to her surprise they had actually found better means to fight for what they saw as their rights. And even more to her surprise was that Asami was one of them.

Well, she wasn't one of the originals, but when Amon had lost his place of leadership, Sato somehow found a way to step up and fill in. Perhaps that was why they were better off…why they hadn't made any more attempts on Korra's life or her bending.

The group, with its new leader had managed various achievements. They had earned themselves higher pay rates—ones that equaled the salaries of benders. Not surprisingly, most of them found employment under Future Industries.

They had also found themselves their own version of pro-bending and had rallied up enough money to build various stadiums.

Korra remembered—between battles—even part-taking in a small protest. One that involved getting non-benders better education. They had always kind of been left out of the loop in learning about the 4 nations and the 100 year war.

And all of this done without electric gloves or crazy artillery. With Asami, the party was in good hands. They accomplished much, and in a way that the ancient Air Nomads would approve.

Things may be looking grim for Korra at the moment, but at least one thing could make her smile as she sat in that wheel chair, bent and broken…

At least she was able to save one group…

Make both sides happy…

Make everything work out.
