Doctor Who | Eleventh Doctor x Clara | She was Clara Oswin Oswald
AN: Here it is. My first foray into the Doctor Who fandom. It just came to me. I'm a bit nervous about this one so let me know what you think and enjoy. xoxox
She was brave.
She was strong.
She was bloody brilliant.
She was soufflé girl.
She was his impossible girl.
Never afraid of the dangerous situations.
Always ready to interfere because she couldn't just let it be.
Completely amazed at every single thing she saw.
Always curious about time and space.
Born to save the madman in a blue box that was bigger on the inside.
And he's funny.
He's just as brilliant.
And did she mention a bit mad yeah?
And when she met him, The Doctor, it was the best day ever.
A moment in time that changed her.
And he needed her.
They saw the world together, each adventure just as amazing as the last.
But the trick was not to fall in love.
She did, sometimes twice a day.
So the mere thought of never seeing him again hurt much more than she thought it would.
She knew, of course, that their adventures couldn't last forever.
She couldn't keep running.
Not like him.
She had to grow up.
Get a job.
Get married.
Have kids.
And he'd continue to run, hopefully sparing her a thought now and then.
Better yet, she hoped he remembered her.
Always.
He was her clever boy after all.
And one day, one day she'd step out of the TARDIS, turn around, and watch it disappear.
And that would be the last time.
The last time.
And she'd move on.
Because their adventure was over.
Their time together, no matter how perfect, had ended.
It was scary.
It terrified her.
A fear, lying dormant within her.
It was ridiculous really.
He had had many companions.
Many friends.
He saved the world.
It was bound to happen.
And at one point, he had to leave them.
The next face, the next life, was awaiting him.
And sometimes he couldn't take his companion with him.
So there she was, that very companion, afraid to let go.
She needed him just as badly as he needed her.
What was she going to do when all she had left were the stories?
The memories?
Would she be able to go back to the way things were before The Doctor?
Did anybody even know how?
She sure didn't.
And didn't know if she would ever be able to.
Just because it was going to happen, didn't mean she was ready or liked it.
She was brave.
She was strong.
She was bloody brilliant.
She was soufflé girl.
She was his impossible girl.
She was Clara Oswin Oswald.
And the one thing she was afraid of was her adventures ending with The Doctor.
AN: So I hope you enjoyed. I'm off to watch more Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman. Toodles. xoxox
