Author's note: Just know, I ship Makorra and I shipped Kataang so I have no idea why I'm writing a Korroh fanfic. But whatever. Btw this is from Korra's POV.
When I was seven, I met the man who would later become my best friend. He was fifteen then, but nevertheless, he was crazy cute.
He told me that his grandfather, the fire lord, was friends with Avatar Aang. Nowadays his aunt is fire lady, but I'll get to that.
I finally got Iroh to let me talk to his grandfather. Apparently, in my past life, I was a major dork. And, from the pictures I saw in his house, I gather that Zuko was really cute.
The summer after I turned fourteen, Zuko crowned his daughter fire lady and left to travel the world. After that, Iroh was kind of a lost soul because he was really close with his aunt, and our relationship became stronger than ever.
I'm seventeen now and Iroh is twenty-five. We agreed to stay just friends, but I've always wanted more than that. But he'll come around… I think.
