Chapter one.

It was a cold, frigid day.

Snow; swarmed all over the streets of La'Rousse City. It of course, was December; this meant that the chilly weather would be coming in, but; in Hoenn, in was rather unusual to have cold weather. Hoenn was usually more; warm, it would usually be warm, but with a cool, crisp breeze.

Now, usually at this time of year, over by the springs; in Lavaridge Town. The springs would be very popular at this time of year, as everyone would practically, fighting to get to the springs.

The easiest way to ensure that you would get a peaceful vacation at the springs; was to make sure you had booked it! You would have been safest to book it way back in August. Just like our young 20 year old, Drew Hayden did. He had booked a ticket for each of his friends and girlfriend. He and each of his friends have grown up since their pokemon adventures; to be either, pokemon masters, co-ordinators or breeders. Each had achieved their dream and had decided it was best to take part in their battles, contests and such for spare time.

For the rest of their time everyone wanted time to spend with each other, or family. But for Drew and May; they had wanted to spend each minute of the day with each other, not wanting to let each other go, staring into each others eyes, until May would melt like butter, but sadly; there had always been a time when they had to leave each other, but Drew! He was determined that this Christmas; HE! He would propose to May Maple, no matter how hard it would seem...

"C'mon Drew!" Shouted a very impatient, whiny May, "Hurry or else Dawn will leave without us!" She whined some more, trailing her suitcase out to Dawns car.

Drew chuckled to himself, flicking his grass green hair, staring at May with his Emerald green eyes, "Will you calm down sweetie?"

May blinked rapidly, tilting her head to the side for a moment before hitting Drew's arm, "How can I calm down!?" She ranted! "Dawn *will* leave without *us*!" She squealed, flailing, still trying to trail her rose red suitcase. Whimpering, each time Dawn honked the horn.

Drew sweat dropped, "She's not going to leave without us, airhead." He said, doing the annoying hair flick again.

May looked at him, dumbstruck, "What do you mean, 'she can't?"

Drew looked at her, a smirk had just landed on his face. He grabbed her suitcase, but then grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into a tight embrace, "Because I have the tickets to get us in to the springs, silly." he whispered into her ear, pecking her cheek lightly, causing her to blush, as he let go of he waist gently. Grinning, he flashed her a smile and walked off to Dawn's car; with both his and May's suitcases.

May stood there; a dazed look had come across her face. She was standing there for about five minutes before she heard the car horn honk. She shrieked and ran to the car, panting.
