I forgot to tag some users in my last drabble of the challenge. So I decided to make another drabble. I had a sudden inspiration from talk with suburbs. Oh and I TAG... and BleedingRoses92. =D

Lion and the Lamb
55. "It's almost like you had it planned. It's like you smiled and
took my hand and said, 'Hey, I'm about to screw you over, big time."

There was something about Shane that Caitlyn found fascinating. Besides his boisterous and boyish self there was something that Caitlyn found dangerous. His thick mane of hair was always messy and his muscles bulged in a ferocious way. When he smiled the glint of his teeth screamed animal. Caitlyn knew she should stay away if she valued the condition of her heart. Shane can snap her in two without breaking a sweat. Shane didn't have a clean reputation. He went through a number of lionesses before he reached to her. Caitlyn looked up at the staircase to find the lion prowling down to her. The moonlight cast an eerie glow to the entrance hall of Shane's mansion.
"Thought you would never come." He softly growled into her ear. He ran his hands through her soft curls. Caitlyn was paralyzed. She swore she would never find herself vulnerable in his hands. But here she was in the company of none other than the one person she didn't want to fall for.
Caitlyn didn't say much. Shane did most of the talking. He smiled down at her and took her hands, leading her to his bedroom.
A fear filled Caitlyn.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to have a lamb run away with a hungry lion.

Caitlyn collapse to her knees. She was right. No girl should trust Shane with her feelings. Shane was parading her new lioness around: Mitchie. In the emptiness of her own apartment, she cried.
She was an idiot.
She should have known.
She was a lamb.
And everybody knows those lambs should stay with lambs.

Ah. Ok enough. I think I could get carried away with the challenge. It's too much fun.
