Ryan Golden, Nicole Evans and Paul Caria had been best friends since year1 at Stone Hall Academy Boarding School.
The two girls shared a bunk but Paul, being a boy, had to share quarters otherwise. He slept on the boys' side of the school. Anywhere else though, they were inseparable.
Of course there were other Golden's, Evans' and Caria's. Ryan, Paul and Nicole were all 18 years old now. Paul and Nicole were the oldest in their families, but Ryan had an older brother, Cole.
Cole was looking for a college having just graduated from Stone Hall's highest year. Year 8.

Everyone feared year 8. It was said to be the hardest at Stone Hall. Ryan, Paul and Nicole were going into year 8, and even though Cole had said there was nothing to worry about they were still scared. Now that they were home from the New York, Stone Hall Academy, for the summer they all were busy with siblings not yet old enough to go to Stone Hall's summer program, the ages you had to be were 11-16 years old.

Tess was wondering about her twin sister Nona while they were doing there homework (not yet 11, they don't go to Stone Hall, all of the children are home schooled from age 5,) Nona doesn't like Tess wondering about her and because of twin telepathy…
"Stop," Nona said absentmindedly,
"How do you always know that?" Tess replied defiantly,
"Duh, we're twins and I am reading about twin telepathy and so should you because then we could talk to each other during class!"
"Oh, Yeah okay, whatever"
"Gosh, Nona,"
"Gosh, Tess,"
And that was that. The twins were always bragging about their ability to telepathize.
"Hello Ladies." Paul said teasingly to the girls.
