INTRODUCTION TIME~!

Aya:17;shy, but extremely curious. Sometimes it gets her into trouble!

Rin: 16; extremely upbeat and happy! Aya's best friend

Three popular girls:All are 17. They think they're better than Aya by a lot. Spreads a lot of rumors too! Um One is named Sharii...the other two are Brittany and Bethany.

Then we have the... nevermind. I will save it for later.

Aya's P.O.V

School was starting up again, and man, was I excited! NOT.

I have to go through another year of torture with a couple of girls who went there (and still do)! They're the ones who made my life a complete living hell. Luckily, I survived with my friend Rin, which was basically the only friend I had. If I never met her, I would be suffering for an eternity.

Anywho, I begged my mother to stay home because I didn't want to see the girls again, but I had to go. I had to wear a stupid school uniform, which I thought was boring. The only good thing about it is I didn't grow much from last year, so I didn't have to go buy a new one.

I walked to school like I usually do, but I was...extremely quiet. It was like I didn't know anyone, but I knew everyone from last year. Was I extremely afraid? Pfftttt... I doubt it... Okay, maybe just a little. Something didn't feel right about the school, and I just started...my heart was racing more than it has the previously... And the atmosphere somehow changed. It was like I was I knew something was going on, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I saw my friend Rin, and she waved and ran over to me.

"Hey! How are you?"

She walked with me and I said," I'm pretty good, myself." I felt like I had to ask her about if she felt what I felt, but I guess I can save it for when she is done having a conversation about her summer.

"Hey um Rin," I asked quietly,"may I ask you something?"

She cheerfully said,"Yeah, of course! What is it?"

"Does it feel...strange to you? At all? Like anything about the atmosphere?"

"No... not one bit. Why?"

"Oh...Just a thought."

After I replied to her question, the bell immediately rang. I sighed quietly and walked to my first class with Rin. Maybe I was just going crazy. I mean, it's the first day of school. Of course I'm going to have numerous thoughts!

Even so... the fact that I thought something was going on still buzzed around in my head like an annoying bee. I thought about it a lot, and my friend wanted me to rest assured the nothing was going on. I honestly wanted to believe her... but...

After lunch before we went to our next class, I heard people whispering about a rumor.

"You can't believe it, right?" I heard Sharii, one of the populars say in her annoying voice," I can't believe someone would kill another person... Especially this early in the school year..."

Bethany, another one of the populars, replied,"Yeah! Whoever it is, they are such an idiot. I mean, I would love to be in trouble for putting gum under my desk, but to go this far is insanely stupid."

Brittany, the last stuck up popular spoke with a firm tone,"Duh. Just don't go near the end of certain hallways. That's how you'll meet your death~"

The three of them laughed together and walked away to a bathroom.

I muttered to myself," Some hallways... Looks like I will have to catch proof..."
