I just thought I should put an OC insert as a main character that isn't an OCxCanon. And yes, this account is named after the Amaterasu-chan in this story... Heh heh heh... She appears later.

PROLOUGE
The day it all ended started out as any other.
Allow me, as the humble teller of our story, to expand on the former statement - Light Yagami woke up, showered, brushed his hair and his teeth, flossed, rinsed, all that good stuff (And, although this may seem like useless rubbish, I assure you that it will add to the suspense in later time, as to how suddenly a life-changing event can occur). Because every ending has a simple beginning - The expository chapter in a novel, if you will. But, in this particular situation, there was no warning for the building action (What that is, you shall discover promptly).
But then, as Watari the caretaker walked in with a fatherly smile and a cart of sweets and teas for L, something was off.
Half of the room didn't fill with light, and the clouds outside refused to move their normal, sluggish pace along the blue expanse of the sky.
It appeared as if.. The world had stopped spinning, and time around the group (Light, L, Misa, and Watari) had simply ceased to go on, as if it had promptly died in its immortal struggle to go on.
And this continued.
Seconds passed. Then minutes, and what seemed like hours in the blistering silence of the modernly furnished work-force building. Then Misa spoke up.
"Um.. So does this mean the world's ending? Oh no! I haven't even gotten to model in Chicago yet! Oh, I've always wanted to go to Chicago..." Misa began to ramble, but L and Light exchanged a look that told each other they were not actually listening to the model's rant, but instead the deathly silent world around them.
Light no longer felt the air moving along his skin, and L noticed that the air had no temperature to him. It wasn't warm, it wasn't cold, nor was it room temperature - It was nothing. And it hurt, for no nervous system can stand not feeling any temperature at all. It was something that could not be described. It was just numb.
Promptly, a white-haired girl appeared in the middle of the room, smiling and stretching her arms. The group noticed one pink eye and a tattoo on the side of her face. "Ah, God! It's finally time~! Oh, yes, I'm finally in the human realm! Ah, it sucks to be in this circumstance, though... Well, I guess I have to drag out my duty - Getting you all to my realm before ya'll freeze up just like the world around you!"
The group stared blatantly at the girl. Watari collapsed to the floor, passed out.
