AN: This fanfiction merely depicts the curse of the glass table which I have been gradually working into all my fanfictions although it is only broken once in NM or Twilight.
Chapter one: How many vampires does it take to change a light bulb?
Rosalie was perched on Alice. Alice was perched on Jasper and Jasper was perched on Emmett. This would have been a potentially dangerous thing even if Bella, queen of chaos and surfer of waves of doom had not been standing precariously on top of the lot of them. It is needless to say at this point that Edward was not at home. Bella hopped up and down on top of the glamorous blonde beneath her, swiping at the air.
"A little to the left" she cried down to Emmett who grabbed onto Jasper's feet and swayed the leaning tower of bodies slightly to the left. "No! No!" Bella screamed "My left!" Emmett rolled his eyes and swayed the other way.
"This ceiling is ridiculously high!" curse Rosalie. "Can't we get it lowered or something?" Nobody answered.
"Nearly got it! Oh no sorry!" Bella yelled down to them and the Cullens groaned. "Can you get me any higher?" Emmett stood on his tiptoe and Alice went on the points of her toes. "Got it!" shrieked a triumphant Bella who had made a grab at the swinging lampshade, kicking Rosalie in the face. Alice wobbled on her points and Rosalie went crashing to the ground grabbing jasper as she fell you followed her in plummeting towards the neatly hovered carpet and bringing Alice down with him. Emmett looked around him seeing a pile of bodies and sat down neatly on the floor.
The Cullens picked themselves up, brushing glass from their pristine clothes. Jasper was the first to notice.
"Oh god! We've broken the table again!" he muttered bending down to examine the crumpled frame.
"She's gonna kill us!" Rosalie groaned. "She said that if we broke it again this week we'd not be able to take Bella to that park with the cool swings."
"She would have loved those as well!" Alice slumped down on the sofa.
"We could just replace it!" said Emmett hopefully.
"Do you know where her store is then?" asked Jasper, also slumping back to sit next to Alice.
"She wouldn't tell me!" Emmett said in indignation, picking a piece of glass out of his ear. "I bet Edward would know though. Esme couldn't hide her thoughts from him."
"Yeah, but what do we tell him we were doing?" Alice chipped in. "Changing a light bulb? You know him, anything remotely unsafe and he goes spare!"
This discussion I can tell you would have gone for another 38 minutes and 57 seconds had not two people walked through the front door and no, it was not the chuckle brothers, it was Edward and Esme.
"My table." Esme sighed simply.
"Well…yes we did break it again." Alice said shyly.
"I really wanted to take Bella to that park she would have loved the roundabouts." Mumbled Edward grumpily.
"I think you will find she would have preferred the swings." Jasper sighed.
"Nope, she is definitely a jungle jim girl." Rosalie said calmly.
"Bella, a jungle jim." Alice laughed derisively. "She told me she likes the see-saw."
Emmett was about to suggest that Bella was more of a climbing wall person when a small voice piped up from above.
"If I could butt in…" Everyone looked up and there, swinging serenly from the light was Bella. She smiled at them happily and let go, dropping five meters down and landing safely in Edward's waiting arms. " I've always liked the teeter-totters."
Edward looked at the ceiling and then back at Bella, and then at the ceiling and then at Bella.
"W-w-w-? H-h-h?" he stammered but couldn't find the words. Bella grinned at him, pecked him on the cheek and leapt out of his arms.
"So what's the deal with this table anyway?"
Everyone exchanged glances.
AN: That was just a starter chapter but I hope you like it. Please review!
