After all the angst there was some much needed fluff to make up for it. I always enjoyed writing pregnant women and their poor husbands who have to deal with all the mood swings and weird cravings. ofc I had to do that with my first OTP Naruhina! Enjoy the fluff ^.^

"What's wrong Hinata?"

Naruto came around the corner of the kitchen towards the living room and the look on his wife's face was that of pure revulsion. She stared at his bowl of ramen and her nostrils couldn't have flared any further than they already were, even if she wanted them to. She placed one hand over her mouth and bolted out of the room towards the bathroom. He watched her in confusion finishing the noodles hanging down his face with a slurp, and placed the bowl on the counter chasing after her.

Ughhhhhhhhh, moaning and retching were the only noises he could hear from her. He knocked on the door and she only moaned louder worrying him. Did she find ramen that gross? Man he would hate to give it up but if it made her this sick he would have to, or maybe he would just eat at Ichiraku instead of in the house. Yeah that's what he would do.

First he had to figure out what the problem was though. She continued to vomit until finally he heard the flushing of the toilet and running water. Several more minutes after that she opened the door hesitantly looking down at her feet, she was wobbly and paler than her usual fair complexion. He held his arms out for her and she stepped closer accepting his embrace. She grabbed at the back of his shirt and snuggled her face against his chest. He simply started patting her hair and rested his chin on her head.

Whatever her problem was he'd like to know, but for now she needed the comfort first before the interrogation. She just held on to him without moving and he just rubbed her back soothingly in lazy circles. He wouldn't complain, he was still getting used to the feeling of having another human being that he could hold without them thinking it weird. Every opportunity she gave him he took without question. It also helped that she always smelled so nice and felt so soft in his arms. He was an idiot for not realizing his feelings for her sooner.

"Are you okay?"

She nodded her head but didn't say anything. He pulled her back slightly to see her face and lifted her chin up so he could look into her eyes. She smiled softly at him and the green tint had finally faded away. There was at least that. He started moving towards the living room but kept his arm around her making her follow him.

He sat down and pulled her down to sit on his lap. She snuggled her head into the crook of his neck and didn't say a word. Well, this was backfiring. He needed to get her to talk to him. What could he do to make her feel comfortable enough to speak with him?

"Hinata," he didn't continue and she moved back to look at him. She frowned but still didn't speak up, "What's going on? I thought you liked ramen?" That was a good start.

She looked at him in surprise then started laughing out loud. She hugged him and he had no idea why but he was happy for any contact with her. She finally stopped laughing and kissed him on the forehead. She smiled kindly and spoke in her soft voice, "No, I do. That's not what this is about."

She grew grave and moved away from him to sit on the coffee table in front of the couch so she could face him fully. He scowled, and felt his heart speed up. This was very serious if she had to look him directly in the eye. Did she have some terminal disease?! No, he couldn't jump to the worst conclusions he had to let her speak.

"Naruto-kun, I… have to tell you something important." She wasn't the timid girl he remembered, now she was determined and her violet eyes shown with purpose. He wanted to bring her back to his lap and show her how much he loved her, but now wasn't the time for that. Her beauty could hit him another time, now he had to focus on her words.

"What is it?"

She bit her lip and her cheeks colored. She was losing her resolve quickly it seemed and the shy girl was back. He tried not to grin at the change in her, but she was so cute. She took a deep breath in and in one burst said everything she needed to, "I'mpregnantandyou'regoingtobeadad!"

He blinked… And blinked again. She did say that quite fast, perhaps he didn't understand her correctly. She stared at him with partial fear and with partial excitement. He only stared at her eyes until the words sunk in. She was pregnant. They were having a baby together. He was going to have a family. He scooted off the couch and kneeled in front of her sitting body. He opened her legs so he get closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning his head against her chest.

He sat there just absorbing the beating of her heart. Soon there would be two heart beats within her. One strengthening her body and the other created to help his child live. He felt tears slipping down his face, but he didn't acknowledge them he was too wrapped up at the news to care. She however was very concerned, "Naruto-kun? Are you alright? Are you okay with this?"

She started rubbing his hair and wiped the tears from his face. He was going to be a father and the woman that owned his heart completely was going to be a mother to his children. He squeezed her closer then thought better about it pulled away from her, "Did I hurt the baby?!"

She looked at him confused, "Just now? No, it would take a lot more than that to hurt the baby. He isn't much right now it's only the third week."

He blinked up at her, "He?"

She blushed and looked away, "I… Umm… it's too soon to know for sure…but I feel like it's a boy."

He beamed at her and jumped from his kneeling position. He clenched his fist and took a determined stance, "We have to get ready! There's all sorts of things we're gonna need…" he thought for a second, "Hinata, what all do we need?!"

She started giggling at him and stood up taking his hand and brought it up to her face. He started rubbing his thumb feeling her silk skin. She glanced up at him and he was floored by her beauty again. She murmured softly, "It's too soon to start shopping, but I'm glad that you're excited. I was a little worried."

He grimaced at her, "Why would you be worried about that? I love you and you know I've always wanted a family."

She thought about it then smiled, "You're right, I shouldn't have worried at all."

He hugged her tightly and she squeezed his back in reassurance. He was going to start a family with the woman he loved and he couldn't be happier.

"Naaaaaaruto-kuuuuuun!"

He bolted out of the kitchen to find his four-month pregnant wife holding her stomach and grimacing. Oh god, it was too soon for anything to be happening. Was she okay? He kneeled in front of the couch covering her hands with his own trying to feel anything unusual. She only had a small baby bump at the moment, and it made her all the prettier in his eyes.

"What is it? How can I help you?"

"I'm hungry."

He frowned, "But you just ate an hour ago."

"I'm hungry!"

He nodded his head vigorously. Note to self never disagree with pregnant wife when she's hungry. Scratch that, in general, just say yes it'll make life a lot easier and things will go much smoother that way. He acquiesced with her and she nod her head in approval, she obviously liked his lack of argument. She spoke again, "Make us something, please, Naruto-kun."

He had eaten with her earlier, and wasn't really hungry but she had this weird thing of not wanting to eat alone. It came about with her pregnancy and he wasn't sure why, but at least he had an excuse to be with her more often. "How does ramen sound?"

She thought about it for a second, "That's fine."

He stood up, kissed her on the forehead, and walked towards the kitchen. Ramen was about the only thing he could cook that was actually good. After years of making it for himself it was nice to be able to make it for another person. He started shuffling around the kitchen gathering things to make the food. Once the water was fully heated he poured it on the noodles and waited a few minutes for them to cook.

He grabbed both bowls, some chopsticks, and walked into the living room to feed his wife. She sat up when she smelled the food, and beamed at him holding her hands out for the bowl. He sat down next to her and handed her the bowl he made for her.

They started eating with the only sound in the room being the slurping noise from eating noodles, except the problem was the only sound was coming from him. He put his bowl down and looked over at her. She frowned at her bowl and looked over at his. He thought she was hungry, "What's wrong? You don't like the ramen?"

"No… I… I want your bowl." He scowled at her words and glanced over at her very own bowl and looked at it pointedly so she'd get his meaning. "I want yours too."

He stared at her in surprise. That was new. She leaned closer to him looking at him from under her eyelashes and pouted her bottom lip out. He felt his face flush and blood rush to other places of his body. Crap, she was good. He handed her his bowl and she started eating it happily. He scratched the back of his head and chuckled at her. Her habits were getting weirder by the day.

He just hoped this didn't keep up or he would never be able to eat ramen until the baby was born. He stared at her in horror thinking about having to give ramen up for the next five months. She glanced up at him and saw him staring at her, "What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?"

He shook his head vigorously, "No, I was just thinking if you kept this up I wouldn't be able to eat ramen until the baby was born."

She stared back at him until tears started forming at the line of her eyes and soon they were spilling down her cheeks. She put the bowl down and started sobbing into her hands. He scooted back fearing her sudden outburst. The cravings he could get used to, the mood swings were another thing. He started patting her awkwardly unsure of what even caused her tears in the first place let alone how to comfort her, "Umm, there… there… It'll all be okay?"

"It… Won't…Be….Okay!" every word was said between a sob and a hiccup and he had to look away to stop his snort of laughter. He still had no idea why she was crying.

"What's wrong?"

She glanced up at him with red rimmed lavender eyes and that stopped his laughter dead in the tracks. Even if it was the hormones he did not enjoy her tears. She spoke with a wobbly voice, "You think I'm going to steal all your ramen. You hate me!" The last bit was wailed out and she dropped her face towards her hands again sobbing harder.

He started rubbing her back and tried to pry her hands away from her face. She glanced up at him and sniffled. Damn, even crying and she was adorable. He brought her closer so he could wrap is arm around her and lifted her chin with his finger. "I didn't say that, and before you even mention it, no I was not thinking it either. I would never hate you Hinata, even if you're a little more emotional than usual."

He smiled at her and she finally stopped crying, or at least the tears stopped flowing however; she kept sniffing, and he offered her a tissue. Good thing he started supplying boxes of Klinex around the house for occasions just like these. Now he was always prepared for the water works. At least physically, emotionally he was still at a loose of how to help.

She blew her nose and wiped her eyes. She took one last breath in huffed it out and gave him her full attention, even bouncing on the couch slightly to turn towards him. She was back to normal just like that. He smiled at her antics and she gave him a shy smile. "I'm sorry. I've been so crazy lately and you had to deal with it all."

He shook his head and leaned forward so his head could lean against hers. He brought one hand up so he could rub her cheek and she leaned her head into his touch. They stayed like that without speaking for a while. He loved these moments the most, where he could get away with simple caresses and touches without her getting embarrassed. He brought his free hand to her stomach and started rubbing the side where the baby liked to kick.

She placed her hand on top of his and grinned at him, "At least it'll be all worth it in the end."

He looked at her sternly and leaned down so he could kiss her stomach, "You do what you got to do to get here, even if it makes mommy crazy for a few months. Don't worry your Daddy can handle your mom. Don't tell her that though she might start crying again. Secret between men okay little buddy?"

As if to answer him he felt a soft kick on his hand where it still rested against her stomach and he felt his heart soar with pride. That was his son in there and he could feel him. Hinata was so lucky to be able to carry their child he wanted to hold his son already, but he would wait patiently until he got here safe and sound.

She started laughing at him and placed her hand on top of his head rubbing his hair. He took the opportunity to lie on her lap and hold both his wife and child. She started humming a nursery rhyme and before he knew it, he was falling asleep suddenly being the one taken care of instead of taking care of her. He smiled as he drifted off. He wouldn't say he had to 'deal with her' as she did, he would rather say he was taking care of the woman who was giving him a family. She rubbed his head and he slowly fell into a world of bliss.
