Harry watched the man as his head shrank to thar of a baby, and then grew back to a mans. Beside him, Hermione was muttering something about time. Harry raised his wand to stun him, but Hermione stopped him. His head was now that of a baby.
"Harry, he is a baby. You can't hurt a baby."
Harry glanced around, then ran out from under the table where he had been hiding. He grabbed hold of the back of the wizards robes and pulled. His head was now that of a teenager. As Harry pulled, some of the sand from inside the jar was scattered over his wand arm.
"Wha...? What's going on?" the teenage head asked as he examined his muscular arms, looking surprised. "I was in the common room doing my potions homework. How did I get here?"
Harry left the man boy babbling in confusion as he began to jog back to the table. Hermione was gesturing to him frantically, urging him to hurry. Before he reached the table, Sirius and Bellatrix came crashing through a door, firing spells and curses at each other. It was obvious that Sirius was injured. There was a nasty cut on his trouser leg above the knee, and everything from that point down was covered in blood. It was obviously slowing him down. Harry raised his wand again, wanting to help. Bellatrix saw him and turned.
"Exp-" Harry began, ignoring the tingling in his arm, but stopping when his wand arm was shrouded in golden light. The last thing he saw was Sirius stunning Bellatrix and Hermiones shocked face.
OOO
Harry was speeding through a strange tunnel. It was a strange tunnel. It looked almost like a lightening storm in space. In the few moments he was conscious, several thoughts went through his head. One was the question 'Am I time traveling?'
Ooo
Spock Prime watched as James T. Kirk and Mr. Scott transported away, hopefully to the Enterprise. It was an intriguing experience meeting the younger version of his oldest friend. Looking down at Kensar, he sighed.
"We have a lot of work to do. We have far to travel."
Kensar looked up at him with a questioning look on his spiked face.
"We need to find a suitable location for the survivors of Vulcan. Then we need to proceed to Earth. I need to contact both the Vulcan embassy there, as well as Starfleet. We need to prevent the event that sent me here occurring in this timeline," Spock explained.
Without another word, both Kensar and Spock Prime began fixing the many faults with the transport so that they could fly it to Earth. They had just finished when a thunderous boom echoed through the research facility. A vortex opened in the far wall, whipping up a large wind. It was ringed by what looked like lightening. A solitary figure, wearing black robes and what Spock believed to be an old Earth style school uniform fell through, obviously unconscious. Spock approached the figure with a tricorder. While it wasn't a medical tricorder, it should give him enough detail to work with.
"Facinating," he murmured. "Human male. Sixteen years old. Signs of malnutrition early in life. Unknown bio-chemical reactions in blood and unuseual brain activity."
Spock remembered Khan, the genetically engineered superhuman he had met in his time. Leaning forward, Spock placed his fingers on specific pressure points.
"My mind to your mind..." he began, and his mind was filled with strange images.
Authors Note: First of all, RIP Leonard Nimoy. You will be missed. So, this is a Harry Potter/Star Trek: 2009 crossover. It is partly inspired by The Wizard in the Edge of Forever by rpnielsen, but there will be many differences, noth in terms of OC's I will be writing and the general Star Trek characters (since it is the alternate universe). Hope you enjoy.
