"Can I come in?" Casey asked, knocking on Derek's open door.
"Why not," he shrugged.
"You called my dad," she smiled.
"It seemed important to you," he said without looking up from his computer.
"Thanks Derek. Really," she said going over and hugging him.
"Hey, what are step-siblings for?"
"God, don't say that," she said sinking down onto his bed.
He turned his chair around to face her.
"Why not?"
"Because, I don't feel like your step-sister. Siblings, even step-siblings, shouldn't feel this way about each other," she sighed, leaning back until her head hit the mattress.
"What are you saying Cas?" he asked with a smirk. "Have you fallen for me just like you fell for Sam?"
She lifted her head up to look at him before plopping it back down on the ground. "NO! I have not fallen for you of all people. I just- why am I even telling you this?" she asked her self before getting up and going over to the door. Just as she was about to leave, Derek grabbed her arm, pulling her back.
"Who said that was a bad thing?" he asked before pressing his lips to hers.
