"So why did you call me out here?" Chris asked; his breath misted in the cool Monday air.

It had been a few months since Terra had first started attending the school. She hadn't really made any close friends, she was still afraid that if she were to get too attached; it would come back to stab her in the back.

It was currently wintertime in Jump City, and Terra had called her friend to the campus outside.

"Oh, I just wanted to ask you something..." Terra finally responded.

"You can ask me anything, Terry, I'm all ears."

Terry. Why did that name bug her? It just seemed too blank for her. She really hated changing her name, but she thought it was the best thing to do since she was technically a criminal.

"Um... It's a stupid question really bu-" She started.

"If it were a stupid question, then would you have called me out here?" He interrupted.

"Well..." She looked up at him "Would you still be my friend if you found out there was something wrong with me?"

They boy pulled his scarf over his mouth, and closed his eyes.

"Depends." He replied. Terra looked at him; her face full of confusion. "Just kidding!" He exclaimed. She gave him a small punch on the shoulder. "Ow! Well, I'm sorry for making a joke! But really, I'm always here for you Terry." The campus was then filled with the sound of the school bell. Chris stood up; waved goodbye and started heading for class, but Terra stopped him at the doorway.

"I'd like you to call me Terra from now on."

The boy raised a brow. "Why?"

"I just like that name better."

Little did she know, a pair of jealous eyes were watching her.

The next day when she was making her way to class, she didn't see Chris anywhere.

"Maybe he's away today..." She thought. She was about to turn a corner when she was impacted by a solid object. She had dropped her books, and leaned down to pick them up; a quiet laughter coming from the person in front of her. She finally looked up to see a tall brown haired girl.

"C-Chantelle... What was that for?" She asked.

"You know exactly why, Boyfriend stealer!"

Terra's eyes went wide. "W-what are you talking about?!"

"Don't act like an idiot! I saw you with Chris yesterday!"

"Chris is your Boyfriend?!" Terra started. "We're just friends! Nothing more!"

"That's not what he told me." She scoffed.

"W-what?" Terra muttered. "How could he do this to me? I-I thought we were friends..." She thought.

"Now, tell me..." Chantelle started. She then grabbed Terra's hair and pulled it up; slightly lifting her upwards.

"Argh! S-stop please, that hurts!"

"It's supposed to hurt, idiot! Anyways, tell me, how many boyfriends have you stole!?" She asked wickedly. There was already a crowd gathered around them; laughing and chuckling.

"I didn't steal a-anyone! P-please, let go of my hair!" She said as she waved her arms around.

"Y'know, I like seeing someone be pathetic. I think I'll just continue." She said; a smirk on her face. This girl was pushing Terra past her limit. She was on the brink of losing control.

"L-let go! I-I I'm warning you!" She pleaded; tears welling up. Chantelle just rolled her eyes and ignored her. Big mistake. Terra's eyes were soon lit yellow, and the ground began to tremble.

Two girls in the crowd noticed Terra's now yellow eyes, and gasped.

"C-Chantelle... Let go of her." One of them peeped; their faces full of fear.

"Zip it!" Chantelle shouted. She then looked at Terra. She couldn't see her face, only the back of her head, but if she saw her appearance, she'd be running the heck out of there. "You just moved here and are already causing trouble. Just proves just how much of a loser you are." She whispered in her ear. Terra gritted her teeth. "Oh, did you not hear me? L-O-S-E-"

"SHUT UP!" Terra shouted.

"Shut- Argh!" Chantelle started. She was interrupted by a sharp object piercing her stomach. A sharp rock had went straight through her abdomen. She had been impaled. She shook as her last words blew out "T-This feels w-weird..." She whispered before her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed. The crowd of people cried out and backed away; some ran outside. They all starred at Terra with horror. Terra got up and looked at the girl lying on the floor; already surrounded by a pool of blood. She was breathing as hard as ever; and kept looking at her hands.

"W-what have I done?" She mumbled. Her eyes went wide as she looked around her; people had already pulled out their cellphones. "The Titans will be here any minute..." She thought. She couldn't take it anymore, she bolted for the front doors, but there was a wall of people blocking them. She ran the other direction. She rammed into someone on her way. His scarf was knocked right off him.

"T-Terra! C'mon! Let's go to the Cafeteria!" He told her. She didn't give much thought to it, she just wanted to get out of that building. She began to run, but gasped as one of her arms had been pulled back.

"I've got her! Over here!" He shouted.

"Chris LET GO OF ME!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Not until the authorities get here!"

"LET GO!" She shrieked as she lifted her other arm up and slapped his face as hard as she could. He released her arm and clutched his cheek. There was a red mark shaped like a hand on his face. She sprinted for a nearby door, and as soon as she was outside, she levitated a rock and flew at full speed. She had to get out of there; she had to get out of that city. She flew, as fast as ever, hardly seeing where she was going.
