Watching You

"How do I get myself into this" asked Wally who was now 24 and was driving his son Keeoshi for some as Kuki had called it "Father son bonding time". He looked at the little black haired 4 year old who was the spitting image of Kuki same black hair and Lilac eyes it was scary how much alike two people could be. He even loved ranbow monkies! He loved Keeoshi so much and even if Keeoshi was more like his mother he strived to be like his dad. Keeoshi and Wally had been to Mcdonalds and were on their way to the hardware store thats where the trouble started. Keeoshi was eating his chicken nuggets so he could get the toy inside. All of a sudden the green light turned to red causing Wally to hit the brakes and Keeoshi's food went flying but what Wally heard next is what shocked him "Shit!" said Keeoshi giggling in a way only a 4 year old could. "KEEOSHI! where did you hear that word son?" asked a very concerned Wally "You Daddy!" squealed Keeoshi in delight "Oh boy"thought Wally "It's gonna be a long day."

When Wally got home that night he spent some time with his 2 year old daughter Lilly but later, went to their "Den" to sit and think on Keeoshi. "Me? How did he hear me say it?" asked Wally out loud to himself. "Daddy I have been watching you I want to be more like you." said a tiny voice out of a corner and Wally knew it was Keeoshi but before he could answer Keeoshi was out of sight and earshot. He bent his head and prayed to God. Little did he know Keeoshi had not left but was hiding but most importantly he was listening.

Bed time rolled around as Wally turned on Keeoshi's favorite Rainbow Monkey night light he noticed Keeoshi was kneeling on his bed and muttering to himself. Wally raised his eyebrow at this strange behavior but left and heard from the hall Keeoshi's small but sweet prayer. When the small boy finished he rushed in a grabbed Keeoshi up by his stomach and gave him a rasberry. Wally decided to stay with Keeoshi till he fell asleep he noticed for the first time Keeoshi was like him in many ways for example he talks in his sleep and what he said was "I wanna be like you Daddy I'm you'r buckaroo". Wally breathed a contented sigh and drifed off.
