Forgiveness

"Master Yoda."

"Knight Skywalker, home you are." Yoda said in a huffing tone.

Anakin hung his head. "Master, I apologize for my actions. I should have known better."

Yoda silenced him with a glare. "Save your apologies you shall. Someone more worthy of them there is." Anakin looked up to see Obi-Wan making his way to them. "Leave you I will. A celebration to watch I have." Yoda said and the two watched his glimmering form shuffle off.

Anakin turned to Obi-Wan. "Master," he said softly and bowing.

Obi-Wan smiled sadly. "You have no idea how long I've waited for those words Anakin."

"Master I'm so sorry," Anakin said as Obi-Wan walked forward and hugged him.

"Calm yourself my padawan." Obi-Wan said as he petted Anakin's hair. "Everything is alright now. It is over. All is forgiven."

"How can you forgive me so quickly? After all that I have done?" Anakin asked surprised.

"You are my padawan," Obi-Wan said confidently, his hand on the back of Anakin's neck. "You are my brother in arms. You strayed but now you've returned." Anakin nodded in understanding.

"I only hope the Force can forgive me for all the damage I have done,"

"It has Anakin. If it hadn't you wouldn't be here. Now come, we have a celebration to watch."
