Contrary to popular belief, this is actually an OC created by my friend, Emmy. She created this beautiful character, and in honour to her writing style, I wrote this for her!

A tear trickled down the young girl's face. Her blue eyes were watered and red from crying, nonetheless, tears continued to fall. She was waiting for an older boy with whom she had fallen in love. The rain picked up, and soon it was a full down pour, plastering her bright red hair to her face.

About an hour later, the rain stopped. Now, she sat there cold, wet, and hungry. She saw one of her friends come this way, so she quickly hid her face to avoid him recognizing her. He did, regardless of her knees up and hood pulled; she guessed it was from the red hair falling out the sides.

"Minn! You must come in out of this weather! You are going to get sick!" He ran over to her and frowned. "You are nuts, girl!"

She put her head down, forcing back more tears. He must have saw that she was uncomfortable, so he lowered his voice. He looked at her with a form of empathy in his eyes.

"Take my overcoat. If you aren't going to listen to me, then I can at least protect you from this weather, alright?" He held out the navy blue overcoat to the 17 year old girl and smiled, unsure of whether or not he was offending her. He waited for a minute, then turned and walked away. The rain picked up again in the small village, and she felt relieved that she had his coat.

She sat there, water falling all around her. Just then a blonde teenager, about her age, came riding along on his reddish brown horse. The horse had unusually bright white hair for such a dark horse, but the contrast was stunning. The teenager sitting atop of the mare was garbed in green, with a green hat sitting atop his longish blonde hair. Minn looked at him and her heart fluttered. She remembered why she was actually sitting here, and then she looked down ashamed. She felt guilty for looking at a boy when she had been waiting here for three hours for her love interest. It was clear to anyone that he wasn't coming, but she still waited for him. She looked up when she saw him stopped beside her. The horse whinnied when the boy got off. He called the horse 'Epona', and stroked her mane softly. He whistled a little tune, and that seemed to calm her. He sat down on the wet bench beside her, and it creaked a bit when he adjusted his weight.

"So, who're ye waiting for, girl?" His voice was as an angel's. "Bein' out in this rain is surely goin' to give thou an ailment.

"Yes, but I cannot leave. I am waiting for someone."

He picked her up bridal style, but she didn't fight. He smiled when she smiled, and she draped her arms around his neck. He sat her up on the horse, and he walked her to her home. She laughed and joked with him for awhile, and when he left, she knew that this was the person that she wanted to be with.
