Friend or Foe?
One new day in Miracle City, Frida and her father decided to go to some garage sales. Frida wanted to go to her next door neighbors, Bob and Sue's garage sale while her father wanted to go to the one down the street. So he gives her twenty dollars to go and buy what she wants. "Do not buy that lamp, it looks very, very…" "Okay! By Dad!" And Frida ran off. Frida knew that her father did not want her to buy the lamp, and she knew it would clash with some things in her room, so she bought that and a little lizard keychain.
She ran home and quickly hid it under her bed. Her father entered and asked her what she got. "Just a cute lizard keychain!" She said showing him. "Any change?" "Nope!" "You bought it for twenty dollars?" "Yep!" He walked out. Frida took out the lamp and decided to visit Manny. He said that he was going to a superhero conference and she couldn't come. When he shut the door in her face, Frida longed to have some type of superpower so she could go too. While she was thinking, she was shaking her lamp crazily. Before she knew it, a huge, dark figure came out of the lamp. The dark figure asked,"Why have you summoned me?""Huh?"He asked again,"Why have you summoned me?"So she answered,"Are you one of those stupid genie things?""Who are you calling stupid?""Oh, no one."she answered. After a while, Frida Asked to have superpowers. "Like El Tigre!"she explained. "Hmmm." he thought. "Maybe I can use her to have revenge on him for what he did to my father." He whispered a few things in her ear. They shaked on it. Frida sneaked into Manny's room over night and took his El Tigre belt. She returned home and gave it to the dark figure. Frida felt a dark, strong wind blow around her. Before a while, she had superpowers of her own. The next day, Frida visited Manny. "Where is my belt?"he asked nervously."I don't know. Well anyway look what I can do!" She shot beams out of her goggles. "Frida…. Did you do anything to do with my…" "Well gotta go! See ya!" and with that she ran off. After a while, Frida became a little proud with her powers and showed everyone she came across with. Except Zoe, of course. After a while Manny noticed she was starting to use them for the wrong purposes, like breaking windows, and destroying mailboxes, and other things. Frida became corrupted with her powers and was doing crime now. Manny wanted to do something, but without his belt he was useless. Frida one day came to Manny. "Hey loser boy!" "Frida, what are you doing?" "Did you just try to insult me?" she asked. "No!"he exclaimed. "Now you're lying to me!" She aimed her goggles at him. At that moment he jumped and smashed her goggles against the ground. "You smashed my goggles, you knuckle head!" she said teasing. Manny was glad she was not corrupted anymore. They returned to Frida's house and shook the lamp. The genie came out holding Manny's belt. "Frida, why?" he asked. "I didn't like to be left out from your hero meetings, so I thought I could get powers, too." she explained. Frida smashed the lamp and Manny's belt fell to the ground.
