This is my very first oneshot, and it's very my first warrior story that isn't a parody. I know it's short and if it's rushed or sucks I'm sorry!

Warriors belongs to Erin Hunter. Unforunately.

This much off topic but: Vote on my poll.

Heatherpaw's eyes didn't give away as much anger, sadness and grief she was feeling. Lionpaw had just told her that they coudn't be friends anymore. They needed to be loyal to their own clans.

Lionpaw. Her Lionpaw didn't want to see her anymore. She nodded as if she understood. As if she accepted that Lionpaw didn't want to be with her anymore. But that wasn't true. His words stung.

"I am loyal! I always will be!" she wanted to yowl, but there was no use in even trying with all the warriors around them.

It just wasn't fair! She was as loyal as any other cat in WindClan. She hunted for clan. She would fight to the death for her clan. Why? Because she loved them all, from the tiniest newborn kit to the oldest and crankiest elder. She even cared for Breezepaw, the arrogant apprentice who never seemed to enjoy being around anyone. So why did he think they were being disloyal?

All they were doing was having fun. Yes, he taught her battle moves but she would never use them in battle against him. Lionpaw was her friend, she would never do that. But obviously he didn't think the same way she did.

Everyday she did all that possible to keep her clan safe. She even dreamed of becoming Heatherstar, leader of WindClan. She would lead her clan and use all her nine lives to make sure her clan was strong and protected, and for awhile that dream came true. When she and Lionpaw created DarkClan, and he was her loyal deputy Lionclaw.

So why did Hollypaw, Cinderpaw and Breezepaw think they were doing something wrong? How dare they?

The only thing was... they were doing something wrong.

They were breaking the warrior code.

Everytime they met.

She didn't want to admit it. That she continued to sneak out to meet Lionpaw almost every night, and they told eachother stories and taught each other battle moves and kept the information from their clans. Heatherpaw desperately wanted to say it was all a game and all fun.

But it wasn't.

Her willingness to meet with Lionpaw led Sedgekit, Thistlekit, and Swallowkit to the tunnels where they played. Eventually, the kits would venture into the tunnels and get lost.

It was all her fault. WindClan thought ThunderClan stole the kits, but in reality they were deep into the tunnels lost and close to death.

Heatherpaw bravely decided to venture into the tunnels and find the kits, and for her own selfish reasons WindClan and ThunderClan almost fought and seven lives were almost lost because of her. All because she went to see Lionpaw.

She could have listened to the stories she heard about her mentor, Crowfeather, how he fell in love with the ThunderClan medicine cat and how his heart was broken and none of his clanmates trusted him anymore. She could have listened to Breezepaw and ignored the ThunderClan cats, since they were nothing but kittypets according to him.

She could have done the right thing. She could have ended things with Lionpaw. But she wouldn't let herself. She couldn't let herself.

Why?

She was in love.

How was it? I kinda like it. Kinda.

Read and Review please! :D
