He breathed in the sweet, melodic sound that came pouring out of the headphones. He felt his stomach twist and turn, feeling the emotion that burst out of the words. He pressed his bare back against the wall, inhaling wisps of cherry scented nicotine. The beer bottle sat idly next to him, empty, but he hadn't realized it at that moment. He couldn't tell what had made him feel this way. Was it the alcohol that had made him feel so hypnotized, or was it the haunting chills of the songbird's voice? Her pouted lips had slowly turned into frown. Her eyes, her expression had taunted him, reminding him constantly of the times they had been seperated like so. Her long, light hair had framed her pale face, her dark eyes fixed on his. Ilusions had clouded his mind. She stood in front of the microphone, flowers pinned to her hair neatly. But the flowers had paled in comparison to the vocalist's beauty. She opened her mouth, but no music escaped her lips. He opened his eyes, his vision returning to him.

"You're drunk, aren't you." She muttered.
