Plot: Annabeth loves Percy...but sad thing is, that he is dating a girl named Lucia. SHORTLY finding out that he is MARRYING her. She doesnt know what to do, so with nothing left, she confronts him. What will he do? Admit he might love her? Or leave her in the mist of betrayal? FIND OUT!
"Don't say yes!" I screamed as I burst through the churches door.
The crowd of people turned towards me with shocking faces. My Tears were streaming down my face. I couldn't let the one person I loved just be thrown away to another woman. Everyone started to whisper.
"I came for a reason, Percy!" I yelled.
He shifted his head in my direction.
"What do you mean-"
"I love you! Whenever I would be sad or upset you would come over to comfort me. When I needed company you came over! When I needed a friend you came!"
Percy looked shocked and got his voice back saying, "Anna, that's all I am. A friend. I'm in love with Lucia. I loved being there for you but I never thought of you as being my girlfriend. Nothing more."
My heart broke. "Percy, im a fighter. I fight for things I want. And I want you. Nothing else… all I wanted was us. Me and you. Forever…."
Tears formed again and ran rapidly down my cheek.
"Annabeth…im sorry. I know you were always there for me…but…I love Lucia. Cant you just see that? True we have been friends, you and Thalia both, but I have moved on. Just-" he started "Save it Percy."
I left the wedding. My life with it.
