Kid Icarus: Uprising Story. Chapter 1: My Journey Begins

"My first mission!" Pit said excitedly, as he ran and jumped out of the opening door, automatically going airborne in the sky with Lady Palutena's power of flight.
"Hey, Lady Palutena! It's been a bit since I have seen you..." Pit said.
"We can chat later, Pit." Lady Palutena said.
Suddenly, Pit saw Underworld troops. These Underworld troops consisted of Monoeyes, Miks, and others. "Oh crud, does this mean that Medusa was..." Pit paused, Lady Palutena interrupted.
"Resurrected. Yes." Lady Palutena said.
"Aw, man, she was a pain 25 years ago..." Pit said, as he started shooting Monoeyes with his First Blade. Each defeat gave him hearts.
Suddenly, Medusa came up into the sky.
"Medusa!" Pit yelled.
"Hello there, Pit, and you too, Palutena." Medusa said, giggling evilly in between her words.
"Ready yourself for defeat, Medusa! Pit and I are coming for you!" Lady Palutena said.
"We'll just see about that.." Medusa said, disappearing. Suddenly, the Monoeyes began to move their attacks to the ground.
"They're moving their attacks to the ground!" Pit informed Lady Palutena.
"Then so are we!" said Lady Palutena, controlling his flight path.
"I can't believe I'm actually flying! This is great! Thanks so much, Lady Palutena." Pit said as he chuckled excitedly.
"You're welcome, Pit. I gave you the Power of Flight so you can go airborne. However, this power only lasts for five minutes. After that, your wings will burn up...and you'll fall," Lady Palutena said.
Soon, Pit came close to the town he was supposed to land in, seeing the Underworld Army attacking it. He gasped. "Oh no."
"This is bad! I have to get you over there so you can save the people from this devastation." Lady Palutena said, speeding Pit's flight up.
Pit soon approached the town, flying over it. "Oh man, look at what the Underworld Army has caused..."
"I know. It's terrible. Prepare for land battle." Lady Palutena said.
Pit landed in the town, looking around. It was in devastation, invaded by the Underworld troops. "Oh no. I have to destroy as many monsters as I can..."
Lady Palutena looked worried. "Quick, Pit. Save the people..." she said.
Pit ran along the town and defeated Underworld scums. Soon, he finally reached the boss, Twinbellows.
"TWINBELLOWS!" Pit yelled.
"It's Twinbellows! Speaking of which, why does it have two heads?!" Lady Palutena said jokingly.
The battle between Twinbellows and Pit began.
"Here, boy! Old Pit's gonna teach you some tricks!" Pit said, doing a few melee attacks.
Twinbellows barked, then fell.
"Now, Pit, there's your chance, attack!" Lady Palutena commanded.
"Raaaah!" Pit yelled as he shot and did melee attacks on Twinbellows.
Soon, the final blow sound did its cue, signaling that Twinbellows was defeated.
"Yeah! Victory is MINE! That two-headed dog didn't even stand a chance at all!" Pit laughed.
Suddenly, Medusa appeared.
"Medusa!" Pit said, sprinting up to Medusa. "The darkness inside of you...it must be stopped! I will destroy you!" Pit exclaimed, swiping air with his hand.
"...Let's return for now. Your mission to defeat Medusa and the Underworld Army has just begun." Lady Palutena said. Suddenly, a bright vortex of light began to shine on Pit, and lift him up, teleporting him back to Palutena's Temple.
