Alice had been free for a couple of weeks. She was herself again. She had visions that she couldn't explain. She had one recently about a vampire, like herself, named Jasper Whitlock. He seemed charming, with many scars. She could see he looked depressed. She saw he was going to stop at a restaurant soon near one of the towns she was near. She went there every day for a week waiting. She never got inpatient. She could see he was getting closer and closer. On the eighth day she was sitting there when he came in. He looked around and sat down. She got up and walked over.
"You kept me waiting long enough." She said.
He could tell she wasn't really mad but he couldn't help but feel guilty.
"I'm sorry ma'am." He said and he heard her giggle. He turned and saw the most beautiful creature that he had ever seen. She had black spiky hair, light red eyes with hints of gold in them. She was shorter than him but a lot of people were. For some reason he felt as if he had know her forever, like it was destined to be.
"Come with me. Let's go somewhere I have seen that we can be safe. Just to let you know Jasper Whitlock, I'm not letting go of you. You better want to stay for awhile." She said with a grin.
"I think I will take you up on that." He said with a sideways grin.
"I'm Alice."
"Nice to meet you Alice." He said and kissed her hand.
