The first Mind Probe
This was a weird alien. Owen had determined that the species had extremely high blood pressure. However, Jack felt that there was more to this alien than what Owen's medical checks had shown.
"Right team, I have a suggestion. There's a machine called a mind probe. It will reveal any secrets being kept."
"What kind of secrets?" Suzie asked.
"Like, maybe there are millions of those creatures getting ready to invade. Now, Tosh, you can operate the Probe. Suzie will judge if it is safe, Owen, keep an eye on the blood pressure."
"Sure."
"Oh, and Ianto!"
"Yes sir?"
"The creature might get dehydrated during the probing. Be on standby with some water." Ianto nodded and went to get water from the fridge.
"It will only hurt a bit, so no need to threat." Suzie told the creature, whom Owen had nick named Dr. Evil; anyone could guess who the alien looked like! Toshiko put the Probe on the alien's head, before going to her desk.
"Okay, everything so far is safe." Suzie said. Toshiko pressed the enter key; this made the probe dig deeper. The alien groaned, but nothing extreme happened.

It was all very sudden. One minute, Suzie said that everything was safe, then…
"Jack, that is gross!" Owen yelled as the alien's head exploded. Owen turned to where Suzie was stood.
"You said it was safe!" He shouted.
"It was, don't have a go at me, Owen!" Owen looked around for someone to blame. He had been stood right next to the alien when it's head had come off, also being the only thing that had protected Tosh from being covered. Jack turned to Owen.
"Go and get changed, Owen. You're being pathetic!" Both women giggled.
"Well, I don't think we'll be using that ever again!" Jack commented, deciding to lock the probe far away.
