Rose

She spoke his name, over and over, trying to wake him. His eyes didn't even flicker. ''Jack, there's a boat. Jack!'', a tear fell down her cheeks. ''There's a boat, Jack.'', she said before crying more tears. ''Jack?''
She laid her head down on top of his cold hand and sobbed harder. But then she realised that she had to keep hold of her promise to him. ''Come back! Come Back!'', she began calling out to the officers in the lifeboat, her voice scratching from how cold she was. ''COME BACK! COME BACK!... come back.'', she pulled her hand from Jack's. The ice that held them together like glue crunching. ''I'll never let go'', she said, kissing his hand. ''I promise.'', Rose added, as she let his hand slip from hers and he fell deeper into his watery grave. That was it. She had to do what she could to survive. Rose rolled off of the wall panel and tried her hardest to swim over to the crewman who had the whistle. She snapped it from his mouth and blew it. Over and over, repeatedly. ''COME ABOUT!'', the officers from the lifeboat yelled and she was finally saved.

Jack

He could hear every word she had said but the water was pulling his body closer to the dark, letting death take over him and he was hopeless. Rose had been saved by Officer Lowe and the boat had gone. Jack could feel himself falling deeper under the water. He tried his hardest to stay conscious and he eventually pinged his eyes open, jumping up out of the ocean and onto the panel that Rose had been laying on. He gasped for breath, not caring about the pain that tried to kill him. He needed to get back to Rose. In the distance, was a small light. Another boat, he thought to himself. ''Help!'', he yelled, trying to shout as loud as possible, his voice scratching like Rose's had. It was a boat. But not the one Rose was on. The people in the boat had reached him and a young man had pulled him up and off of the panel, wrapping a blanket around him. ''Here you go, son.'', the man said to him and handed him another blanket and some whiskey to try and warm him. ''Thank you'', Jack choked out. He was saved.
