"Push, baby, Push, you're doing great, honey" as I patted her head to calm her, I can't believe this, I'm going to be a father, this is it, I can't wait to meet them, oh yeah I'm having twins, We haven't given much thought to the naming part but we know as soon as we see them, then we'll just know, I know we should have, we did have nine months to figure everything out but we were a bit preoccupied, me mostly with a tour that I just came back from.
I heard crying, they carried her to me, she looked just like her mother, with her big blue eyes and blonde hair, she smiled at me as her little tiny fingers wrapped around mine,
"Hey, my little princess, I'm your daddy, I'm gonna protective you as long as I shall live" a tear fell from my eyes, as I kissed her on the forehead, it was one of the most…..the best mornings I have ever had, since the day, I met her mother, then I gave her to YN, she smiled,
"One more push, Mrs. Henderson, one more big push" and that she did, they cleaned him off and handed him over to me,
"Hey, little fella, I'm your daddy and I'm going to love you endlessly" as I kissed his forehead,
"He looks just like you, Logan" she smiled as she played with our daughter, I can't believe this, I'm a father now, nothing can beat this feeling, it so different from what my dad told me, well I guess every guys experience is different I guess.
"What about their names, Logie?"
"How about Logan Jr and Lourie Ann Henderson" she smiled,
"I love it, sweetie" I smiled as we rocked them to sleep.
I'm a dad, my life is complete.
