Love is Planted

"Flora: Your brush strokes capture the dove

Helia: That's what I had in mind. I love that you got that!

Flora giggles softly"

The edge of the river lapped onto Flora's feet as she situated herself near the bank. Her feet felt the cool, refreshing water and she sighed with satisfaction. This was just what she needed. Her mind at peace, herself in Solitude. She hadn't been able to keep calm ever since that other day. The day she met him, the one who made her heart thump. Nothing had ever felt so invigorating, or so powerful. She remembered his deep eyes first connecting with hers. His stare wasn't stern, or curious, it was just there searching her eyes. She blushed even by the thought of this. It was too new, too much to understand.

She leaned back, her arms resting upon the grass, making her long hair fly away from her back. It felt so good. The water on her toes, the wind threw her golden lock, the grass cushioning her delicate hands. Why couldn't things just be as calm as this moment she thought. She opened her eyes to see the shining sun peeking through the trees. Oh how she loved trees. Somehow they were like a comfort to her. So sturdy, unafraid of where their roots may carry, or welcoming of new Robbins who would make a home in their branches. She always admired the trees ability to just be brave. For Flora knew she was sensitive and easy to talk too, she was afraid of letting others know her true self. The one who just wanted to stretch their branches up to the sky, and show that she wasn't afraid, A girl who could go up to a boy and say their true feelings. She always looked upon Stella for the boy advice, and Bloom to give the realistic approaches. Though something about Helia made everything different. What exactly could she be afraid of she thought, leaning forwards and looking at her reflection in the crisp blue water. She saw a girl looking back with luscious hair, green eyes, and a thoughtful expression. She wasn't sure what held her back. Suddenly a leaf fell upon the water, disrupting the image.

Autumn was here. A time of learning, A time of change, and maybe a time of love… Who knew. Flora gathered herself up, drying her feet upon the smooth grass and finding her favorite pink sandals. She slipped them on, straightening her skirt and looking up at the now darkening sky. She smiled sweetly, and stared up. For she thought she saw a faint image of a man with Raven black hair, strong features, and a smile that could make any girl melt.
